Nice deal if you can find one in stock. Type 1A ladders, like this one, are so much sturdier and more stable than the other lesser types that have a lower weight limit.

I picked one up during Black Friday. Looks like it's still the same price. I have an 8ft already but the 6ft is more manageable for stuff inside the house. These 1A ladders are so much nicer to work on.

Looks to be available at my local store for the advertised price...ah I really don't need another ladder but this would be a great buy for someone. This is a 15-20 year ago price for a fiberglass ladder.

Check out auctions. I got 2 28' aluminum ext ladders. One for 60 the other for 100. Not brand new but not beat up either. One had some paint on it, the other had some drywall mud on it. I had to replace the pull lines on both, but that was only about $5.00 and 20 minutes time. I couldn't have bought one werner at a big box store for that price. In my area the big ladders go dirt cheap at auction but the little ladders go at retail prices for used. I use mine for stripping, sanding, and painting.

I give out this recommendation a lot, look at the lean safe x5 if you don't need it for getting to the second story roof. Good to about 13 feet. I can get on a 1 story roof with it. I love mine, that is why I always recommend it. It is an a frame, small ext, and combo ladder without all the cumbersome size and weight of those multipurpose ladders.
