Yes, a tip request will be prompted at checkout for express as with any standard delivery. The only way around tipping is with the In Home add on ($40), in which deliveries are procured and delivered by Walmart employees in Walmart delivery vans.

I'd rather Walmart just pay its employees like UPS, Amazon, the post office, and DHL so I'm not expected to tip.

Yes!. There's in-home no tip delivery which add another yearly fees. In-home deliveries often get cancelled and you have to order a day in advance
