Here's a precision tool for $5. They are sold under many different brand names. All of the bits magnetically clip into the metal case which is way nicer than the little plastic bit holders and case. The driver is magnetized. The case is smaller which makes it fit better in a small tool box like a soldering kit. The plastic spudging tools are basically disposable, so I wouldn't want spots for them that will eventually be empty or filled with garbage. You can buy a better spudging tool kit for $3 on eBay. The additional bits are nice, but unlikely to be commonly used.

I really like the size of this one but it doesn't look like it has the star bits with the hole in the middle. Some battery backups want that type of bit.

Does it have the the special tri star bit used on some devices like nintendo switch , iphone, galaxy watches. I have purchased such kits in the past only to find out they are ok general use but when it comes to some special devices you are on the hunt for the special bit.

I have purchased such kits in the past only to find out they are ok in general use but when it comes to some special devices you are on the hunt for the special bit ebay and amazon and end up paying anywhere between $10 -$20

I'm looking at my kit right now. It does have torx bits with a hole in the center. They're are many different brands selling it.

I've used it a lot for years, and I've never encountered an electronic I didn't have something for yet.This is mine:

I recently picked a different set up, and I am in love with it - think I'd probably recommend it over this Walmart set (even though I've never used the Walmart set.). It is very well made, everything operates super smoothly. And the friction on the bit holders is absolutely perfect! Only thing it doesn't have compared to this set is suction cups, but it has so many more bits and tools that you could just add a couple suction cups to its carrying case easily. I haven't tested the durability of the bits yet, but I generally don't beat my bits up so you'll have to check reviews for that. Given the quality of the other components, I bet the bits are good quality.

You can also fit a 1/4" screwdriver adapter bit into its case onto one of its bits and it still closes perfectly!

Edit to add: Some people in the reviews really don't like the screwdriver handle that comes included with this kit due to the spiral shape. It's not a problem for me at all and I think it feels pretty good in the hand, but make sure you think about that beforehand if you buy it.

they never have these instock instore. Went 2 different stores last month been $10 since shelf was empty with $10 tag. Even though it shows for pickup. Employee scanned the barcode and no inventory.

That kit is great if you already have square drive, all sizes of security Torx, T15-T20, 2.6mm two-pin, and all the other bits that the Hyper Tough kit has but that one doesn't. The magnetizer/demagnetizer is nice too.

It's still only 7.5x4 inches. It just looks big because it's got so many bits in it.

However, I agree that if you only need the bits in the smaller kit, they're easier to get to. The dual-row carriers in the HT kit take a bit of effort to flip up and down, and it's harder to see the legend because it's embossed into the plastic instead of stamped in white.

Are you constantly doing these repair jobs? Probably you should get the smaller kit, as it has most of the tools you need and you'll have access to the others. Do you just want something in the house to fix your own stuff when you need it, once or twice a year? The HT kit is probably what you want, because it has absolutely everything already.
