It looks like it was always selling for $251. They temporarily increased the price to $435 and are now calling the original price a deal.

After doing a lot of research on sofas I'm the last few days I can say that regardless of if it's always $251 or not, this is the lowest you are going to find for a sectional of this size and really a sectional at all.

In terms of comfort, from what I can tell all the made in China sofas in the range of under 500 or 600 that you find at Wayfair, Target, home Depot, etc. all seem to be of similar comfort. Most reviews report quite firm and there is disagreement on if that is comfortable. My guess is that they are all basically going to be just acceptable comfort level so why spend $500 when you could spend $251.

What are you using to determine this? I used AisleGopher and I saw it was originally $300 something, but the history is very short.

I bought the beige linen color in July for the same price and it already looks 20 years old. The material and color easily shows stains and dirt, now shopping for solution, possibly a slipcover. As far as the size and comfort it is great for the price. Unfortunately that was the only available color at the time I bought it.

I just got mine in the other day. I got the gray and am completely happy with it. Well worth the money. Its firm but comfortable, the back cushions are more plush. This is a $250 couch, keep that in mind. I would have still been happy if I had paid $400 for it though. Its a great starter couch and its nice because it comes apart so you can move it really easily. You can move the chaise part to any of the 3 sections too.

Purchased the "green velvet," and the reviews are correct - it is more of a teal green than an emerald green. Took me 10 minutes to set up by myself, no tools required. It is firm but that is fine for the room it's in (sitting room for reading/socializing/working on laptop, not for relaxing to watch TV). It is a super soft material and I think it's a great deal for the price.

Note: Cushions are still expanding from being vacuum-sealed so that's why they look a little weird in the photo Smilie

Bought one. It's as comfortable as cheapest IKEA sofas (with 3x pricetag). It's kind of firm, but I love it this way, I was watching TV for like 2-3 hours - and felt perfectly comfortable. I can imagine sleeping on it for a night or two easily (if only it was longer).

I couldn't find a sofa for like 4 years. Mostly just because I didnt want to buy online assuming I can receive something horrible, and didn't want to buy in store for 800+ bucks. Pulled the trigger this time - and I'm completely happy. Quality is much better than I expected.

Looks like it would be good for my mancave in the basement. I don't need something super comfy or expensive. Just something black to sit down on occasionally. I'm mainly in my gaming chair down there anyway.
