I'd say no. The XM6s should come out next summer so you may want to wait. I imagine there will be minor improvements all around for the XM6s plus an answer to Bose's surround sound that you can use with any app. There will likely be enough new changes to justify an upgrade from XM4 to XM6

Hoping they go back to a folding design like the old XM4's and the new Bose QC Ultra's.

Anyone know if the wh-1000mx5 work better with windows/teams than the 1000mx4? I currently have the MX4s and its a nightmare to use for work :/

Very tempting but I already have the XM4s. Could grab these and give the old ones to my son but doesn't make much sense when the XM6s will be out in the spring/summer. Great deal regardless though.

Returned my Bose Q45 to Costco because of poor battery life and pretty slow recharging.

Sony got the best ANC (XM3 user here). Bose Q45 is not bad but average compared to Sony XM series for sure (used Q45 for 80 days at Costco with amazing return policy).

If battery life and ANC are not top priorities go with the Bose Q45 (not a bad headset at all). BTW I am a very heavy user of the headset 10-11 hours per day.

Headset feels cheap, doesn't feel $250 to me. I'm sure it sounds awesome but not for me. Make sure you get to try it in person.
