The vacuum is nice, but the battery is terrrrible. I think I clocked it lasting 10 or 15 minutes. And that's on the Medium setting. (normal). The good news is that there is a digital countdown on it, so you can literally watch the % go down every few seconds. (like a bomb) The good news is that you don't dilly dally while vacuuming!

It does have LED headlights on it which are "cute", but I wish they would have prioritized the battery. But it is a decent vacuum though...for 10 minutes. Smilie

I pre-ordered this.
I hate this thing. I hate it so much.
Its weight distribution is murder on my wrists, the suction gets stuck on the floor if you turn it up too high, and setting it on low is useless.
The brushes kick stuff around on hard surfaces, and the battery life limits it's use.

I would buy this a replacement for a dust buster if it was $35, no more.

I've had this for around a year, the battery isn't great but the vacuum is. Buy a spare battery and it's still lower cost than anything comparable from Dyson.

Was looking at this vacuum for the basement as the best budget suggestion from rtings.com.

https://www.rtings.com/vacuum/rev...ess-vacuum

I think normal price from Walmart was $98?
The rtings review seems to be the original Wyze cordless vacuum. The Walmart version seems to be what Wyze calls "Wyze Cordless Vacuum S", based on the power rating in the listing. Differences seem to be that the S version has less power than the original and doesn't include the wall hanging accessory. Runtime is also slightly less so I'm assuming the battery is a bit nerfed too.

Power differences between the original and S version:
Eco 7,000 Pa 6,000 Pa
Med 15,000 9,000 Pa
Turbo 24,000 Pa 20,000 Pa
Claimed runtime on Eco: 50min 40min
Motor Rated power output: 400W 300W

I've had the original since 2021 near launch and am still pretty happy with it for the $120 I paid. I got it to have in the kitchen for hard floor and some rug touchups, and it's very capable of those. Also makes a good hand vac. i don't think you should expect a ~$100 cordless to do what a corded vacuum can do since half of what you're paying for is battery. For quick use where you just want something that lowers the bar to do a quick vac when you don't want to drag out more power/capacity with a corded vac, it's pretty great.

How filthy is your house? If you can fill up the dust bin every other day with 10 minutes of vacuuming, I wonder what kind of animals live in that house.
Probably teenagers 😂

So, this appears to be very similar to a no-name one I bought on Amazon a few years ago that's no longer available:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08SQJV2MS

I've been mostly happy with it for light to moderate cleaning as it's not going to get every last bit of dirt and dust like a much more expensive model, but it was also just $100 including a bunch of attachments, that allow it to be easily converted to a small car vacuum.

My main gripe is that the included battery doesn't last that long, just barely long enough for our needs at present but eventually it'll start to lose power, so I should probably get a second one for when that happens. I'm going to assume that identical-looking ones from other no-name brands would fit and if they don't I could just return them for a full refund. It can also be a bit fatiguing to use it for too long because it's so top heavy, but that's how all of these cordless vacuums are designed.

If this unit is similar then it's worth the price IMO if you don't expect $300-$400 vacuum performance from it. For an average apartment it's perfect and for a house it would make a great day to day vacuum when you don't feel like lugging out the big unit.

Some of the reveiws for the Wyze claim the Walmart version doesn't come with the wall mount or attachments - is that true?

This is true, doesn't come with wall mount. I believe it has attachments though

Thanks for the heads up. I have been looking for a stick vac for my rv and have been choking on the dyson price. I was in Walmart for a couple other things and decided to pick it up. The price was marked at $99, CA theft tax i guess. I asked why it didn't match the price I could buy online and pick up later and they adjusted to $88. It doesn't come with any wall mounting pieces. I vacuumed for a couple of minutes and it did really well and is perfect for the rv.

I bought 3 to give them out as gifts. It seems like a nice starter quick clean vacuum. Already have a Wyze robot vacuum which has been amazing on hardwood, a bunch of their wireless cameras and 2 x Dysons so this should work.

Wow nice score. Does the label on the vacuum base list 400W?
