Purchase a motorola edge – 2022 on a monthly payment plan, trade in any phone (including broken) on any rate plan and get the phone Free (up to $498 off) via one-time trade-in credit and monthly bill credits.
This one is eligible for almost all tmobile plan plus you can turn in any phone, even if it's nokia 3210 or something that is total busted.
Second, I did calculations for my account, and it wasn't worth switching to the Magenta plan.
