I had Moto G Power, Moto G stylus, both 2020 release. These great mid range phones. I do not play games, but for everything else these phones work perfectly. I do not know about Moto Edge 2022 offered by T-Mobile, but Moto Edge 2023 is at least as good as my Pixel 6 Pro, my be not as good in Photo department, but other than that it looks and behaves like premium phone.

Go to the other (previous) thread.

More subscribers complain because either TMO or Costco (or both) messed up the gift card process.

Also, more subscribers still waiting for their GC

it make sense to me.

t-mobile paid you $5 for your phone up front to your bill.

The edge cost $498.

$498-$493=5

$5 for 24 months ia about 20 cents per month.

in your mind, you probally think you get $5 and $498 from T-mobile thats why you're confused.

For all trade-in deal on t-mobile. You want to have your device worth $0. This way you get the full $498 credit. Then you wont see any device eip charge on the bill each month.
That makes sense. Thank you.

If you have an older cheap rate plan such as simple choice it makes sense

I have a 10 line account which is around $200 a month. Others have it even cheaper.

I did the moto deal last time this was around since it seems like simple choice users aren't getting any good iPhone deals.

The steal here is doing it through Costco. They waive the $35 activation fee per line plus they give you a $75 cash card

yes, got it. I'm posting a comparison of the Pixel 6a vs the 20222 Moto on this thread.

I am also on simple choice and not getting any upgrade offers lately, this Costco deal is perfect, basically free phones and $75 gift card. Kids can use these phones with wifi, also note that you can get them unlocked temporarily 5 times a year after using a month or so on TMobile line, each time unlocked 30 days, so someone can use it as a backup phone.

Did you have to keep the sim continuously active in the phone for 40 days?

The 2023 Moto Edge is effectively a rebranded 2022 model: same processor, same cameras (actually one fewer in 2023), same memory, same storage. The 2023 battery is smaller but charges faster and there are some software differences, but it's essentially the same phone.

That said, the screen and hand-feel of the Edge 2023/2022 are IMO better than those of the Pixel 6 series. On the other hand, the Edge 2023/2022 is slower, has awful software update support, spotty connectivity, and has a mediocre main camera.

And a reminder, again, disable/uninatall the App Manager/App Selector malware that T-Mobile puts on these ASAP, otherwise they'll start downloading and installing ad-ridden garbage in the background.

How long does it take for the Costco card to come? I was told it will ship 2-3 weeks after the 90 day return period. Is this what other people are getting?

Also these phones are about to flood eBay lol

As someone who has owned a few moto phones in the past, the biggest issues are:

1)retain no value when used.

Don't think you'll be trading it in anywhere or selling it for very much

2)low repairability.
I couldn't even find someone to replace the battery a few years ago. After 4 years my brother needed to bring a battery pack everywhere

If you buy a tempered glass could you share which one you purchased?

I did the previous deal but the glass I bought from Amazon was bigger than the screen. I had to contact the seller via their own site but they never replied back
Plan to use without a screen protector but bought a phone cover from Amazon...it's from spigen and was about 9 usd and should suffice. I stopped using screen covers since they had issues with pixel 6 and now with my s21 and pixel devices, just a screen protector has worked well with my ocassional drops.
