Got my phone and the trade in label in the box. I made a mistake when entering the trade in online. I have an iPhone 6 rose gold color but I entered silver color. If I ship this gold color will that cause issues with trade in?

In past Costco deals, some where able to just cross out the information on the slip and send it in

I've read that the main thing that matters is the imei

I'm not sure if they changed things though

Has anyone had any issues with changes to their plan after executing this deal using the costco number?

Also, did costco reps require you to pay off any active EIP on a line, or say you cannot do this deal since you have an active promotion on a line?

I'm still baffled by this. I read in earlier posts people who already did this offer in the fall (under different promo code) are doing it again. I have heard the same thing in the past with other promos. So we can just keep piling on offers on the same lines? How many phone trade-ins can we carry per line? I don't mind getting free phones over and over so I can flip them on Craigslist.

How are these phones, and what's the real worth of it? Does the trade-in phone have to be able to turn-on?

They are definitely not a flagship phone.

They are also not worth the $400 or $430 price that's listed.

The steal here is going through Costco, especially if you have an older plan and not going anywhere.

You save the $35 activation fee and you get a $75 Costco shop card.

Yes you are tied to 24 months of bill credits but like I said, it's a deal if you are not porting out.

Hey, got emails on each of my trade in thst they don't match. Weird thing is thst each shows random phones instead of what I sent in. Shows estimated value of zero, the correct phone (each was a ZTE Blade 7 from a deal here a long time ago)and correct emei number and then a random phone (Samsung s5, iPhone 11, iPhone SE and Motorola edge) with different imei numbers and zero value). When I log in, 3 of the trade in show not received and one shows complete and verified? Wonder if it's a glitch in the system?

Edit:
Called T-Mobile and they said the promo is pretty forgiving. As long as they receive a working phone with a valid emei number it's ok. She checked all 4 and said they do have the reported phone thst doesn't match what I sent but they all working emei numbers and shouldn't affect promotion. 🤞

Does the promotion show up on your tmobile account? I did similar deal few years ago and promotion showed up in two days. This time, 2 weeks passed and promotion does not show up. 611 said wait up to two bill cycles.

Thanks. I went to Costco this morning. They asked for the IMEI of the trade-in phone. They said that T-mobile would reject the trade-in if I sent in a phone no matching the IMEI put in the computer. Since I am planning to trade in a very old phone at home and don't have the phone with me, I could not finish the purchase.

Yea, each shows on my account, but the trade in portion still shows pending on 3.

You'll get texted when it goes thru, but even then it'll show pending on your account

Better just tracking package and knowing it was delivered, they don't always process them immediately on account

My phone trade-in also came back as a different model with a different IMEI along with this statement:

Looks like there was a mix up—the make, model or memory of your quoted device doesn't match what we received or it was damaged. We will adjust your trade-in value to $75 because of this difference.

I sent in a G6 worth $0 and it showed up as a Pixel 6. As a bonus, this $75 credit actually showed up on my last bill.

I received my new phone but they didn't send me a SIM card. What should I do next?
