I'm very disappointed with Sonus' sales policies. It's great when they finally put something on sale but I can't use my upgrade credits to further reduce the price. So what's the point? I would have hoped they'd reward existing customers and make the upgrade discount stackable. Very disappointing.

DO NOT BUY THE ROAM. I have 10+ Sonos products, and purchased the Roam thinking it would be the same quality. It never stays connected to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It seriously makes a better paperweight than a speaker, and I'm not being hyperbolic.
Anyone got iTunes gift card yet? Still waiting. Also, I got a small room with gen 2 beam, trying to add a subwoofer. I have RW-12D that I am thinking of connecting with Sonos port (additional $300) OR buyin sub mini (almost same price). With sub mini, I can use their truplay software (I am not sure whether it would make a difference with their sub attached or generic one). Any thoughts or suggestions which route I should go. I know I am asking too much 😆, but would rather get an advice for someone who has used both setups. TIA
2 sub minis or 1 regular sub? seems like the minis would give you more flexibility and coverage but may not have as much power and sub-bass
Can't say anything specific about the Sonos subs, but if your primary use case is for music and to fill the low end throughout the room, then two minis should do it.
If you're seeking more of that movie theater deeper bass and impact, go for the bigger sub and eventually get a second.
