If this had a black or matching headstock I'd snatch one up without hesitation. I do love the color.
Agree. Seems unfinished.. why make the whole thing black except for the headstock. At least they could have painted the front of the headstock to match. Also black hardware would have looked great.

If you want that matching look, get an aerodyne. This is what American standard strats have looked like in forever. Personally, I love the contrast. The neck is an aged maple look which contrasts beautifully with the body and rosewood fretboard. I have the mystic surf version (can't justify two Am Pros, sadly) and they're even better in person…

Check it out in store if you have the chance. The dark blue looks really good.
I have this guitar. It's very good, but I will caution the finish on the fretboard was very bad when I got it in 2021. I sent back the first one and got another and it wasn't much better. Hopefully manufacturing quality control has gotten much better. In my opinion the raw headstock does not stick out in person and it feels more true fender than a painted headstock. I have no complaints about the tone and playability. Great action.
