Unscrew the lid. The flip-top doesn't let enough air in and it glugs and makes a mess. If you pour from higher up, the flow will decrease in cross-sectional area, also making it easier to have it all go in.

Saw the regular (no special scent) version in Costco for $8.99 for 2 bottles of 80oz each, works out to be about the same on a per oz basis.

We use hand soap as body soaps. The ingredients list is same. Just marketing that makes body wash expensive.

I've used dish soap and hand soap for both puproses and vice versa. Any reason why that's okay to do or not?
Handsoap usually has a lotion or film added so it doesnt dry out your hands. This can leave a film on your dishes that you may end up tasting in your food. Dish soap in theory would dry out your hands quicker.

And they go on sale often enough at Costco to never have to buy them at Costco's regular price

Sam's has their version for 7.99 for 160oz which is 0.05 cts per oz, which comes up to be a dollar cheaper when compared to this deal for 160 oz
Does your Sam's still carry the clear version of their soap? Mine only stocks the moisturizing white version now, which isn't so good if you're mixing your own foaming soap solution.

This is not an anti-bacterial from the ingredients. It "washes" away bacteria, but isn't an out-right bacteria killer. Heads up for anyone who is looking for an anti-bacterial soap - this isn't it.
There is no need for antibacterial soap. It can contribute to antibiotic resistant "super-bugs" and doesn't work any better than regular soap at cleaning hands and preventing illness. Read up on antibiotic resistance. It is scary stuff.

For those wanting antibacterial soap, Big Lots sells antibacterial Spa Soap [biglots.com] for the same 4 cents per ounce as Dollar Tree did before they stopped carrying it. They also have the clear non-antibacterial variety [biglots.com] for the same price. It can be hard to find in stock, but it's the best price on liquid hand soap I know of. It even beats the warehouse clubs.

LOL, all these posts comparing different items. Costco only sells the harsh SoftSoap, Sam's doesn't sell SoftSoap brand at all, I don't even know how the watery "Spa" brand stuff from Dollar Tree made it into the conversation. I would buy that stuff when staying at my sister's house to put in the children's bathroom -- an 13oz bottle barely makes it 3 days.
Thanks OP, this is around the price I used to buy it in-store at Walmart all the time. Really nice price with 5% cashback Walmart card + other CB. I'm pretty stocked up on the Milk/Honey scent now but it sounds like this is also thick and not harsh, so I might buy a few of these too.

This use to be my go to soap years ago, then they changed for formula and it had the consistency that was thinner then water… so from what I'm hearing, its back to feeling like soap again? For $3 worth a shot i guess
You bought foaming soap refill... That is the thing kind for special bottles with foaming soap nozzles.

The fragrance could linger on the dishes.
