Could I be banned? Sure. If you're worried, you can always make another account for grey market purchases.
If it's for your region your just buying it from a 3rd party seller like gamestop or best buy.

I saw this deal and jumped on it. Firstly I used the method mentioned by OP, same random sounding VPN etc.
After I purchased the game, and downloading the android VPN app, I attempted to activate the app to put me in Egypt. The app asked me to add a credit card as a way to verify my ID, it states that this would be of no cost. I attempted to do this using my AMEX, VISA and Discover, for whatever reason, I was greeted with either my card details are incorrect, please try again, or that my card was not supported and try another.
After a few attempts I gave up and used surfshark (this worked fine).
But here's the important part, I got a text from my bank that was flagging suspicious activity, I thought this may just be a technical issue, but it turned out the VPN quoted by op was deemed by my credit card company as a scam website. Because seconds after my card details were entered and declined, 2 purchases were attempted on my card.
One for $36 for video game amusements or something.
And another for $300 dollars for and wait for this, an online escort agency.
I queried this and my bank said they were sure this was linked to the VPN service and me entering my card details repeatedly.
So, I would recommend people DO NOT USE THE FREE VPN mentioned in this post. It could just be terrible and weird coincidental luck my side, but my bank said explicitly they believe this attempted fraud was linked to the website brought up by the VPN.
If you use this deal, I 100% recommend using a well known VPN which as surfshark or express VPN. I hope this helps someone as I'm not waiting for a new credit card to be sent out due to this deal.
