No you're right, and I'm totally aware and it threw me. But I can confirm 10 million plus downloads and good reviews embarrassingly threw me. First time I ever had a situation like that. Also adding a card for a free service or trial is fairly common, Hulu, Disney + etc.

Just trying to help anyone out before they make the same mistake.

Yeah that's sketchy as fark. Any app that allows pop ups to piggy back on them like that and then immediately attempt fraud is a terrible company and shouldn't be trusted.

Definitely advise going with a known brand VPN.

Just to give the doubters another data point. It worked for me.

Did exactly as the original post instructed.
I'm on PC when I'm accessing the eneba site (not mobile).
I used PayPal to pay.
I used PIA (paid) as my VPN of choice and connected to Egypt.

The cheapest price on eneba was $18~ for the deluxe edition too (as of right now 12pm PT 12/12/2023).

I can also confirm that this works! Purchased and redeemed 12/12! Keep in mind that while you're on the VPN to redeem via Microsoft, it is a bit sluggish, which I'm guessing due to it going through Egypt, but nonetheless, it will go through and redeem! Cheers!

Can someone please help me confirm if I buy this I can download on the pc and play it. I do this with Forza, would like to confirm it works the same way as I'm not all that familiar with how it works in the Microsoft ecosystem.

No it's Xbox only. IIt's isn't a first party play anywhere game

I tried the newer free VPN and it still tells me my Xbox login is blocked. No idea why as it works once I'm back to USA.

Try using a new different browser or a private / incognito window, dnsleaktest.com [dnsleaktest.com] to see if the vpn is actually working showing you Egypt as a location. I used Firefox Focus + vpn.lat and worked for me.
