This is a decent deal for these specific tongs, but not at all a good deal if you're open to other brands - especially if you want more than one pair.

When I come to this website and the top deal is a cheap pair of tongs at Walmart... you're telling me this website doesn't have anything for me and my time is better spent elsewhere.
And yet you wasted more time by commenting… makes sense. Lol

I've used this type before, and I prefer the cheap ones.

Because this one, in order to keep it clipped, you have to pull back on that black hook at the end. The cheap ones has a simple bracket that slides up and down freely, so you can just tilt the tongs the way you want to open or close them, with one hand.

This! Applause

Bought these before and they are not convenient because they require both hands. When both hands are messy with cooking grease, food or oil ends up on the top ring for locking and unlocking. Better to find a design similar to the traditional metal ones, which can easily lock and unlock with a single hand.

I have these. They do not *click click*... It's more of a *tep tep* 😞 Very unsatisfying.

I have these and after awhile the locked position doesn't hold long term. You'll set the on a counter closed/locked and randomly a couple of minutes later they spring open.

I have a cheap pair from Amazon that has rust stains where the metal meets the plastics. Is that expected from all of these?
