Idk why holding on to gift card long term is even a positive idea for those who treats like cash…except when it isn't, regarding liquidity vs illiquidity. Also GameStop is in the weird financial position as the gaming industry is slowly phasing out of physical games thus hurting GS. But I guess GS is being subsidized by MS ironically.
