So I bought this when it was $600 after shipping (with the phone mount, don't get the phone mount you can get a separate one for much cheaper). When I got it, the front brakes were busted and not repairable, I took it to a shop to put together and they said they didn't recommend it as it wasn't safe. Also, the battery did not have the UL logo. I think they have since gotten the UL certification. The repair shop also mentioned that they have received a lot of these Amazon ebikes that were damaged in transit, so you are taking a bit of a gamble of hoping it comes undamaged. If it's not intact, then it's a headache, as you will see it's not so easy to return.
When I returned it, it was a pain. They don't pay for the return shipping label, Amazon sends you one where you have to pay for it yourself. I drove to FedEx to have them tell me that, an also, that particular one cannot store batteries (only a few can, even the dedicated FedEx stores) so I couldn't drop it off there. It was a pain, but it gave me time to complain to HeyBike and they sent me a prepaid shipping label. FedEx picked it up. It was a headache, but at this price, I may buy it again and hope it works out this time.
I did ride it a bit before I returned it, it did get up to 20mph and up hills, about 10mph. It was pretty fun. I do like the removable battery aspect of it, can store it inside during winters.
This is a price that you cannot beat. I wanted the Lectric XP 3.0 but at $1000, it's more than what I'm willing to spend for an ebike that doesn't have much utility for me right now.
Ok, i just got off the phone with customer support ,heavy bulk dept(866-423-5353), and i expressed my concerns about my 3 orders of e.bike and i was told that the bikes are in a Amazon fulfillment center in New York , that the tracking numbers given to us will be updated as soon as the final carrier ( the one whos gonna make the delivery , UPS or CEVA(for Rattan bikes) have the itens ready for deliver .

I also received the auto-cancellation email. I initiated a chat and actually got the same exact guy (or same name) I spoke to three days prior. Long story short, dude has no idea what he's talking about. They cannot assist with a replacement because this item is no longer shipped and sold by Amazon. They also cannot issue a refund if you were to reorder with HEYBIKE INC.
So with that said, I think you guys will have better luck chatting with someone over the phone.
Both parties with whom I chatted and spoke did seem aware of the situation with these orders. Person on the phone mentioned that they have a "recommended" $ ($50) for the promotional credit for our troubles. You might be able to sweet talk yourself to a little bit more.
I would have preferred a cheap e-bike to the promotional credit, but it is what it is.
what did you say ? I've chatted with 4 people trying all sorts of things non of them even budging little. All they would say is to fill out a incident report
Insisted on them sending me a new bike because it was a "Christmas gift". Every time they offered more money I reminded them that they were Amazon and should be able to make this right.
Me - "I didn't lose the bike, you did. You still sell the bike on your site. I rely on Amazon to deliver my packages on time. How do I get a replacement to my house by Christmas day".
Amazon - "How about a full refund as well as a $300 credit to offset the cost of ordering a new one"
Me-"I guess a picture under the tree will have to do until it arrives"
Bought this on a whim. It is not a Christmas gift. 😂
I ordered two heybike. Both got refunded to original payment method and also got two $315 gc for a total of $630 gc.
Hi Vandhrey22,
how did you contact amazon? is it via chat or phone? how did you initiate it? how did you escalate to right department? which department or supervisor finally gave you $315 gc? How did you ask that made them offer you the amount?

I was told the EXACT thing and I woke up to THREE refunds this morning. These reps LIE about anything to appease the customer. I of course went to CS this am asking why I got a refund when they were "in New York" 2 days ago. All I got was a "sorry for the inconvenience " line. I don't care I didn't get the bike or the price was too good to be true. I was lied to multiple times and now have zero trust that a product is being shipped when it says it is. I hope yall have better luck but trust me when I say these CS reps do anything to get you off the line. I wasn't even offered any sort of "above and beyond" credit to make up for the 2 weeks I was charged and got nothing.
Bike was cancelled this morning and the rep said the most they can do after speaking with their supervisor is a $15 promotional credit. Now I'm actually mad.

I got a whopping $10. Seems the people that got the massive credits were super lucky and Amazon is cutting the cord on the big payouts. Sucks because I bough 4 of them and was only given a laughable "credit". Oh well. Merry Xmas!

HeyBike had more stars to start, but it also had a higher order volume that aren't being delivered. One would think it would take more of a hit than it has so far. Ratings shenanigans, or are Heybike customers just more easy-going?
Once they "refunded" me I'm no longer able to review it or I'd be hoping the legion of 1 star reviews
Woke up to 2 cancelled bikes and a refunds for Heybike and the Mukkpet. Went to the chat and immediately they transferred me to another agent. Looked through the details and they initially offered a gift card of 50% of the value of the purchase but i pressed on and said that doesn't replace the 800 Mukkpet bike that it costs now. They then said just order the bike and we will refund you the difference. I asked about the heybike too and the ey Sadi order them both and when it arrives contact us and we will refund the difference. Although arriving late it seems i will be getting 2 new bikes. LoL. I was actually hoping for a gift card but i will live w 2 new ebikes.
I got an email initially stating $10 credit and did the chat and was able to get to $15 credit and then up to a 25 total credit. I guess it's better than zero but not by much
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver your order. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
When something like this happens, we normally send out a replacement order. In this case, though, a replacement wasn't possible, so we've requested a full refund for your order. You'll see the refund apply to your original payment method within the next few days.
To help make up for the inconvenience, we've applied a $10 Amazon.com Gift Card to your account. This amount will be applied to your next eligible order automatically without entering a claim code.

Mukkpet has fallen below 2 stars:

HeyBike hasn't really moved at all:
