So I bought this when it was $600 after shipping (with the phone mount, don't get the phone mount you can get a separate one for much cheaper). When I got it, the front brakes were busted and not repairable, I took it to a shop to put together and they said they didn't recommend it as it wasn't safe. Also, the battery did not have the UL logo. I think they have since gotten the UL certification. The repair shop also mentioned that they have received a lot of these Amazon ebikes that were damaged in transit, so you are taking a bit of a gamble of hoping it comes undamaged. If it's not intact, then it's a headache, as you will see it's not so easy to return.
When I returned it, it was a pain. They don't pay for the return shipping label, Amazon sends you one where you have to pay for it yourself. I drove to FedEx to have them tell me that, an also, that particular one cannot store batteries (only a few can, even the dedicated FedEx stores) so I couldn't drop it off there. It was a pain, but it gave me time to complain to HeyBike and they sent me a prepaid shipping label. FedEx picked it up. It was a headache, but at this price, I may buy it again and hope it works out this time.
I did ride it a bit before I returned it, it did get up to 20mph and up hills, about 10mph. It was pretty fun. I do like the removable battery aspect of it, can store it inside during winters.
This is a price that you cannot beat. I wanted the Lectric XP 3.0 but at $1000, it's more than what I'm willing to spend for an ebike that doesn't have much utility for me right now.
Ok, i just got off the phone with customer support ,heavy bulk dept(866-423-5353), and i expressed my concerns about my 3 orders of e.bike and i was told that the bikes are in a Amazon fulfillment center in New York , that the tracking numbers given to us will be updated as soon as the final carrier ( the one whos gonna make the delivery , UPS or CEVA(for Rattan bikes) have the itens ready for deliver .

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver your order. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
When something like this happens, we normally send out a replacement order. In this case, though, a replacement wasn't possible, so we've requested a full refund for your order. You'll see the refund apply to your original payment method within the next few days.
To help make up for the inconvenience, we've applied a $10 Amazon.com Gift Card to your account. This amount will be applied to your next eligible order automatically without entering a claim code.
I escalated my claim to a supervisor and was relentless. In the end I got an $80 gift card applied to my account for anything sold in shipped by Amazon. I was not going to let this go lightly.
Somehow I always get the worse reps that pretend they can't do anything. I usually go with a calm approach, even though it never works. Maybe I need to lie any say things like "Now my Christmas is ruined" and such
My two bikes were canceled this morning. Just chatted with customer support and they said it wasn't their fault but I kept pressing and finally they offered $25 credit. I took it since I didn't want to keep chatting and I wasn't ever convinced I would get the bikes anyway. But they did have my money for 2-3 weeks so I figure get $25 would cover that.
I confirmed it by asking whether it applies to 3rd party sellers (heybike/mukkpet), and the rep said "No, only to items sold/shipped by Amazon"
yup. and when i pressed them on the $300 diff the heavy duty dept guy went and checked with "mgmt" and said they wont cover the $120 ship, only price of bike. i'd say very dicey to order from mfr and expect full diff to be covered. I personally not willing to risk that, especially with potential return issues/costs dealing with mfr (instead of amazon). This bike dream is OVER.. unless Amz brings it back in a few months at higher price (imagine that!)
Was transferred twice to Ashwani, then had to ask for a supervisor, and finally got $50 credit. If you're only offered an apology, ask for a supervisor

Ask for more guys, ask for a supervisor. I only got $150 ,a lot of people got $200+. Even if they refunded you already, ask for more. Say it's compensation for time wasted, which is true.
Was on chat this morning and was transferred 3 times via chat. The best the chat agent was able to provide was waive 1 month free Amazon Prime Membership. What a joke! I declined, then they moved me to phone support and I was transferred twice. Finally ended up speaking to someone in Heavy Bulk Item Shipping Department who offered $200 promo credit (that's for 2 bikes). This whole process today did take me almost 2 hours. Heavy Bulk Item Shipping Department is who you need to talk to. Good luck everyone!

So I was one of the idiots that listened to the chat and reordered the item from the third party seller with the promise that Amazon would refund the difference after the item arrived. The bike came yesterday and I went onto chat today and was treated like they had no idea what was going on. After an hour of going back and forth with no resolution and they left me with all they can do escalate it and I have to wait for a response. They also tried telling me in a back handed way that it was my fault, but backtracked when I told them I had the screen shots. I'll follow up when they get back to me, but I'm in a bad spot now.

Amazon refunded me this morning I called and said I needed this bike. They told me to place another order and they'll refund the price difference ON THE BIKE ONLY. However Hey bike has added a $120 shipping charge that they will not refund. Therefore they will still sell you this bike for $370 otd... Not really worth it I think?
