Why couldn't you get 5G HI? Doesn't require changing any wiring. It's all wireless.

In the last 10 years I've lived in 8 apartments - each has only allowed one internet provider and it's either been Comcast (DMV), Optimum (Missouri) or Spectrum (LA). Maybe one day I'll get lucky and move somewhere with fiber (or at least multiple provider options). Great deal though for those who can grab it!

They send it to address A and you can set it up anywhere you want but the tower/signal strength varies by the address. For me I was only getting 3 bars so it was horrible during certain hours but for the most part good enough.

Every time I try to signup for Verizon home internet says cost is like $60-80 for some reasons. Never $45 for me.

Not available in my area and I live in a house. I assume it would be the same in an apartment if they don't offer service. Verizon has wireless coverage in my area too so it stinks this isn't available.

Yeah it's wild that some ISP are allowed to have monopolies in certain areas. I thought the government wasn't supposed to allow stuff like this to happen

That's what I want to know too. Someone mentioned 6 months which is only $270. Seems like getting ~$800 worth of stuff for $270 is a no brainer if you're allowed to.

If it is 45/month, then you are paying more for the service to get the x. I believe the s is for $35/month. I am paying $35 a month with it locked for 10 years (got it last year when they were offering that). The service does come with a 5 year lock currently. Not sure if that will change with the offer on the 14th. I have been happy with my verizon service. It has a built in router, but I connect another mesh router system and still works well. Get over btw 250-300MB down over wireless nearly all the time.

It's 5G = wireless. The apartment isn't going to know if you have it or not.

Buyer Beware: Verizon has one of the worst gift card redemption processes possible and will do everything it can to make it hard for you to redeem your gift cards.

I signed up for the $90-$100 1 GIG plan to get a $200 home depot GC + $100 Verizon GC and it never redeemed to my account. I had to go through 5-6 customer service reps in a process that took 1.5 months to get it (2 customer service reps basically told me to wait 10 days for things to "process"). And it ended up almost breaking even with the GCs because I wasn't even able to cancel the plan to switch to a lower plan because the reps claimed switching to a lower plan during the process might invalidate the GCs.

My family member who signed up for a different plan never got their gift cards despite talking to 4 reps over the course of 1-2 months....and they only gave them only one of the gift cards that was promised and not the other.

The amount of time you will potentially waste trying to get Verizon to honor and process the Gift Cards will exceed the value of the gift cards for some people.
