Turns out there is a lively discussion on reddit regarding this: https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyBo...n_cr

What makes the situation worse is that the problem was also reported in the previous gen book2.

Lenovo hinges, Samsung cracked screens, Dell kicks dogs, HP's are bad tippers. Honestly, which laptop doesn't have some problem according to the internet? Amazing how the professional complaint department never recommends anything.
And why is proof a bad thing. If your goal is to spread information, don't you want to make sure that information is reliable and convincing? Otherwise...what is the point? Might as well be standing on a street corner screaming THE END IS NIGH. Do you take that dude at his word?

Dude complains about EVERY laptop having some problem. Millions of units sold, you can find a common theme among any manufacturer if you cherry pick data for more than 7 seconds. Especially if reddit is your source. Bigfoot is a common claim on reddit...I probably wouldn't change your hiking habits over the creature. And of course asking for proof of bigfoot is a big no-no.
Yes, proof is silly. Claiming something is close enough to it actually being true

I bet you can find plenty of "reports" that say the opposite. Crazy how that works.
Now, back to my legitimate question and on topic issue. WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND AS AN ALTERNATIVE? Well other than a paper notebook and #2 pencil because so far that is the only combo that seems to meet your impossible standards of 'reddit says.'
