That said, I'm pushing through with the 2 I bought and will fight the good fight if I have issues and they decide to be bastards about the whole thing.

i for one don't have a use case for it, and no way i am looking to replace my vehicles with one of those. i am just looking to buy a new toy to ride with my kid on a dedicated, isolated bike path. As attractive as this deal is, i will have zero use case for it. that said, regular bikes don't fit in a sedan unless you fold the back seats, so i could see a fold bike MIGHT be interesting choice for some even if they use it for recreational purpose.
oh, did i mention that regular none battery bikes, even on deal, is about 400 dollars? my plan is to throw away the battery on the heybike and use that as a regular bike.

Watches, Cameras and lens, Laptops.
that's why gray market exist for those things: warranty department cost differently in different countries, you cannot buy a camera or watch in Japan or HongKong and expect warranty claim in the U.S. for example.
