Mine was also scheduled for Dec. 20th. However I just called Amazon Bulky order Service line and was told they don't have anything in their warehouse, and Amazon is currently negotiating with their supplier to seek for a solution. I was offered $60 per bike as compensation though. The lady who answered the phone told me she never got this issue before during her past 10+ years of experience in the bulky item service center, and Amazon has already escalated this issue as of today. She did help me submit three tickets to the headquarter and ask me to wait for another 72 hours for a response. Let's see what happens next.

Just chatted with Amazon to discuss the screenshot. The rep confirmed that Amazon IS a authorized store and the Rattan note only applies to non-Rattan and non-Amazon 3rd party Sellers. The rep also confirmed that if anything is wrong, Amazon will help.

He also confirmed that the product is returnable within 30 days.

Anyone buying assurion insurance on this? I bought the bike but now reading the reviews, it sounds like insurance might be worth it? Some reviews saying battery died too fast but might be user error.

Do not discharge the batteries to 0%, try to keep them between 20-80% ideally. Store for long periods of time at 50%. Ok to charge to 100% if you are going to use the next day.

I just went with the extra battery one. Baskets would be nice, but I can probably add those for less than an extra battery I would guess.

Battery on manufacturer page is $499 alone.

the motor lie is common among plenty of brands, even when it's not a lie, the controller can often throttle, so a legit review by a pro is needed. Failing batteries, crap tier service, quite common among ebike's. For the most part, they work fine, and if you want a lot of hand holding, expect to pay quite a bit more for something made by lectric/super73/rad. Sometimes, you will get slightly better quality with these bigger brands, but it's not going to be mind boggling, an ebike is the sum of the parts, you may get zoom rather than wuxing brakes, tectro vs generic rotors, etc. A small increase in quality can end up costing a lot more.

wouldnt be the first time someone lied about UL ratings. If you ride a high end tern that is UL listed, the rating is very clear on the parts.

rattan is not there, hell, even their battery on the site doesnt show the UL label, it could be a small lie like UL certified cells, or UL certified charger (many are these days).
