Huffy was literally just selling similar ebikes for like $330 (or $280 if you got edu or w.e. discount to apply). Not saying this is definitely legit, but nice bikes have sold for this much and winter is probably slow for ebikes sales in general

My guess is that they were in China and are on a boat from China. It takes a minimum of two weeks for boats to cross the Pacific and longer to go to the East coast. I do not know the details of the relative costs of using a boat to go from China to the East coast compared to using a boat to go to the West Coast, such as Long Beach, then by train to the East coast. If all our bikes are on a boat then we are likely to all get notification at the same time when they arrive at land. Unless there are separate boats for East coast and West coast, I assume not.

Thanks for the clarification. Did you order your bike on the first day, second day or third day? Perhaps those ordering on Monday before the deal went offline the first time may have gotten their orders with scheduled delivery dates.

There is little point in trying to guess what will happen or is happening, and it may be wishful thinking that Amazon support staff have truly accurate info rather than their seeing the same thing we are seeing and interpreting it as what is happening in the warehouses across the country.

It would help to get updates from those who have the earliest scheduled delivery date (Dec. 20). They should see a change in their tracking info on Monday if they are going to get delivery on Wednesday, Dec. 20, and they should post a message so everyone can get an idea whether this deal is likely to be fulfilled.

Until then, it's all just wild guessing.

I doubt it was shipped from China--that would take 4 weeks+ door to door under the best conditions to ship by sea (imagine getting e-bike boxes from a warehouse in China to a seaport, loaded it into containers, traveling by sea, getting unloaded at a U.S. port and then delivered to another warehouse where it is then sorted and then loaded onto delivery vans ... all in 2 weeks, when the actual sea "shipping" time is close to that?

Some have delivery dates just 9 days from their ordering date--mine is 11 days.

Often, with Amazon or other online retailers, "shipped" means a label was created. The item may not physically have been moved anywhere yet.

And, I doubt Amazon support staff really know where these bikes are, so there's no point asking them.

I don't think that's the case as I just missed the deal on day one and ordered when it came back on day two. My original delivery date was Dec 27 but I would not be available on that day so I manually changed to Dec 28. Current order history shows scheduled delivery date.

What is strange is the way this software works. There is one application (the forum software) in which I can edit my posts and I can see attachments (images) and I can do multi-quote. There is another that none of that works for. I have been a member for a long time and I have not learned about all those differences until now.

From my chat today:

Yes, I can confirm that the item has been picked up and will be delivered on December 26. Since this is a heavy one, we use two carriers. The middle mile carrier and the last mile carrier. Since CEVA is the last mile carrier, the tracking on their website will not get updated now

The item was picked up by a carrier called EAGLE.
