This is like needing more space for a family vacation so you buy a minivan only to return it when you get back. You don't like them but apparently like them enough to use them for the purpose you bought them in the first place?

Abuse of return policies is why the good ones are slowly going away.

These are popping up on several houses in my neighborhood. If you can, try to see them in person before you commit to putting these on your house. It's a much different look than traditional Christmas lights. Personally, I don't like it, but if you love it, great! Even so, I would wait a year before I pulled the trigger. I'm curious how these things are going to look after 12 months of cold, heat, wind, and rain.

Except they're out of stock for pickup and shipping. So it doesn't matter if they're cheaper, if they aren't available.

These are currently $199 again at Sam's so if you have a membership that's what I'd recommend. I picked up 2 of them a few months ago when they had the same sale.

Does anybody like the look of these lights? They seem like mini flood lights more than christmas lights.

I've seen them popping up around the neighborhoods. It throws a very triangle flooded light. Not my style. I'd rather go the much more intensive Wled 2812s in channel and diffuser light. But that's still too much for me. I'll just keep my traditional up lighting.

Yea but they are permanent and you can change the color, and make them dance with the touch of a button but I agree on the light shape.

Just a heads up for anyone considering these. They're not the pro version that recently popped up a few days ago, so you can't spice these, tempted to get a set though thanks op.

I'm gonna guess the sticker adhesive will be complete crap after a year of use and weather.

There are already reports of lights becoming unstuck the day after installation. I would expect to be super gluing these to soffits or gutters after a year.

Have these....vhb sticks but u must screw in clips to soffitt every 2 to 3 lights. Had one become detached (probably my own fault rushing thru install) but added new vhb and screw + clip and good as new now. No complaints - have had strangers knock on door asking about the lights ha (most think a pro did the job)

I was hesitant at first but finally pulled the trigger when they were 199. Absolutely love them. The planning and setup did take awhile to get the right layout. They do cast a triangle edge when they are installed very close to the wall. Doesn't look bad though. I installed my lights about 6 inches away from the wall which created a rounded edge. Each light blended well into the next light. I don't have to put up lights anymore which I'm more stoked about lol

You can splice these, it's just not officially supported like the pro version. I recently completed an install of the 150 ft version on my house with many splices and extensions.

Got these back near Black Friday and absolutely love them! All of my neighbors have been talking about how great they look. And I love that I can use them year round

These were just $299 for 150ft at multiple retailers including Govee direct, I bought mine Cyber Monday and got a free 4 probe wireless meat thermometer with purchase. Better late than never but these are an ok price, far from a slickdeal!
