I'll hold out for a deal on the pro version. When it comes to these permanent lights being on my home for 10-15 years I'm much more concerned about the installation headache and feature set than saving $100.

They pro versions are brighter with more LEDs, offers Matter support for automation, and offer normal (non colored) warm white color lighting for increased security. If none of these things are important to you then take the savings.

I've had these for over a year now. They are great but the adhesive is a hit or miss as a lot of them have failed. I 3D printed brackets for al of them and now they are all screwed in and truly permanent. Other than that, the app is the killer here and really better than all the other lighting apps. This is a solid deal for these if you have been thinking about it.

There's a guy in our neighborhood who has done lots of these. A handyman can do it. If there's no outlet on your roofline they'll need to run the cord into the attic or somewhere else they can plug it in. We paid $300 for installation and it took him about 3 hours.

The pro is definitely a better product being able to cut and extend when your run ends versus the single extension for the 100ft or 2 extensions with the 150ft. Also the warm white led on the pro is really a nice to have. I have been able to create a decent warm white with my standard ones as I got mine way before the pro was a thing.

I have also had them for over a year, I 3D printed brackets for them and got some trim to hide and hold the wires. Just because I did not want to relay on the 3M stickers alone. I have spliced them several times, added custom made extensions and data boosters so I can do my install.

I ran mine starting from the garage. everything else is hiding soffit and siding trim. The only thing I almost hired someone for was to get up to the highest part of the hose to install, ended up doing it myself as well but I would not ever want to do that again.

Have these, amazing product. Pro better mainly for splicing out if box. My non pro are super bright. Any brighter and prob a distraction to others in your hood tbh. Don't regret paying full price when they came out 1.5 yrs ago

This is my main concern - the capital cost in terms of $$ isn't much but the cost in terms of time and effort in installation is high and I'd REALLY like to not repeat it again, so that means not only do the units need to be rock solid, but they also need to be projected to last long technologically.

I rent my house but I still installed these using staple gun and it works perfectly. For non-holiday lighting I prefer a "cool" white light at about 30% brightness and it lights up my whole house way more than my standard outdoor lights.

Anybody have an opinion on these vs eufy for the same price? Smart Home Hook Up seemed to have them as a toss up

Do Costco have pros? Which location? I thought they are carrying elite version only
