I'll hold out for a deal on the pro version. When it comes to these permanent lights being on my home for 10-15 years I'm much more concerned about the installation headache and feature set than saving $100.
They pro versions are brighter with more LEDs, offers Matter support for automation, and offer normal (non colored) warm white color lighting for increased security. If none of these things are important to you then take the savings.

Thinking about these. Anyone have any exp with them?
I have them on my home for a year. Love em, but install it right the 1st time. Test the lights 1st on the floor to ensure they all work.
I use them as downlights for most of the year at strategic locations (doors, windows, etc). Plan it out to space the light symmetrically around these areas, dont jus start at some random end. I 3D printed brackets for all lights and used staple gun to hold wires. Test out the staple gun to ensure it doesnt pinch into the cable. It took me a typical work day to install as i was meticulous about positioning. You put in the hard effort once so you dont have to deal with putting up & taking down lights for hopefully many years.
App is fantastic and has many themes and customizations. There are tons of vids out there as well.
I paid $300 for 150' back then, $100 every 50'. This is a nicer deal...$90 every 50'.
Do Costco have pros? Which location? I thought they are carrying elite version only
My bad, I thought the Elites were just a Costco version of the pros, but now looking into it after your comment I see the pros are much better. Makes the decision even harder...

Do you mind sharing the brackets details for 3d printing and the staple gun model which worked ?
Thinking about these. Anyone have any exp with them?
I've had them for a year, use them every night, and at this price, I'd jump on them again. I have them installed on a wooden eve, with both u-cable nails every 4 lights or so and adhesives the rest. They have completely stayed in place through FL's very high humidity and rain. I run them every single night, with 4-lights on 4-lights off at an off-white color design at 75% from sundown to 10pm, and then at 5% brightness from 10pm to sunrise. During holidays the sundown-10pm timeframe I do colors based on the holiday. I did the install myself but I have a basic one-level eve so it was easy. I wouldn't necessarily pay for the new ones when you can get the RGBICW elites at Sam's club for $219 100' right now

Have had these on my house just over a year, I actually love them. 99% of the time I just have them set to a low level white as accent lighting, but it's really fun to change for holidays etc. Forgive the blurry camera, but this is a little video I did right after install: https://imgur.com/gallery/house-l...ll-eLGGTYk . They look a lot better in person, and with the front lights dimmed they look even better. In fact a lot of times I leave the main lights off and just light the house with the LEDs.
As for install, a lot of people are saying not to trust the 3M tape. When I was first putting them up, they did not want to stay and fell off before I could get to the end of a strand. I tried cleaning with different cleaners, but the residue would cause issues. Ended up wiping down the soffit with a damp rag, and then heating it with a small torch (was also cold during my install) til the soffit was slightly warm before sticking the 3M tape to it. Since doing that, I've only had one come off (and I'm 99% sure it's one where I didn't heat the soffit).
They've been up through blizzards, 105+ degree weather, and everything in between and have held up beautifully! I'm considering jumping on this deal to do lights around the back of my house and patio as well.
I see these and they make me think of the Shania Twain song. Y'all have issues with HOA? With my luck, I'll be the first of my neighbors for them to take umbrage with.

FYI, these are 100% spliceable by yourself. I have the 100'. 2 strings, then 26' of extension with 1 light in the middle to "boost" the signal. If you're proficient with a soldering iron, you can create your own extension cables. Just note that the connectors are proprietary and you must butcher a run in order to create it, or solder on new 4-pin connectors.
My biggest frustration with these is that you get one driver per strand you purchase and you cannot buy more. I wanted to break up a 150' strand into 100' + 50', but that's not an option. It made my installation more complicated. Otherwise it's a cool product. Bright enough in my opinion.

Costco has the Pro version for $329. I have these. 1 Year. Only issue is the adhesive. I looked up before installation and was warned about the adhesive, so, I used cable holder (U-caps) from Lowes for each light. It's holding good.
Very good lights.
I bought these last year ($225). I installed with both the adhesive and small wood screws (as recommended by a neighbor). Haven't had any issues. I love these and I get a lot of people slow down and look at my lights. I've had them on for 4th of July, Halloween, Christmas and Super Bowl. These lights are fun and can be hooked up to sync with music. I also use them as general outdoor lighting as all white, highest brightness. It really lights up my area and driveway. You can def see these from all the way down the street. These lights have become a neighborhood favorite and more people are putting them up. Thinking of added a 50ft strand to wrap around the side of the house (for floodlight purposes), but the 100ft fit perfect on the front portion of my house for holiday lighting.
I've had these for over a year now. They are great but the adhesive is a hit or miss as a lot of them have failed. I 3D printed brackets for al of them and now they are all screwed in and truly permanent. Other than that, the app is the killer here and really better than all the other lighting apps. This is a solid deal for these if you have been thinking about it.
I have a similar Govee product, and I'm really frustrated with the app. What do you like about it?

How is it better than Phillips Hue?
From my experience, the app is very bad at allowing users to take a scene and modify it, bad at after allowing you to customize the string of lights the save function does not save brightness, sometimes individual bulbs don't recall the saved color and display differently, bad because the scheduler is hidden away from the customizer, bad because the social and marketplace aspects clutter up the customization, and the UI is pretty rough.
I do like the potential the app has, except it's so rough, but maybe Hue and indoor computer lighting companies like Razer have spoiled me.

I don't really have a way to get up that high
