This coupon also worked on a new (not refurbished) V8 Absolute. Snagged it for $269 and comes with both the motor and fluffy heads and all of the other attachments.

Edit: My Chase Freedom card also has 5% cash back on PayPal so I used that too.

The last refurb HP04 I bought had issues with connecting to the MyDyson app. Had to try so many times to get it to connect. Had to unplug the unit several times in an attempt to connect successfully to the app before it would lose it. Now it connects stably and I can control it from the app and get the monitoring data.

Mind Linking the adapter. There are so many on amazon, difficult to separate crap from the better ones.

Wonder why the laws not allow it to schedule and control heat settings from the app…there are heating fans with thermostat that who do the same through the app, this is a major missed opportunity, its not like people burning down houses at 70-75 degrees in 8 hours.

I think the structural heaters will be covered by smoke detectors. But mobile units are not guaranteed.

I got one from this listing, but I no longer see that specific one, the one I have can use either Milwaukee 18V or Dewalt 20V. When my M18 battery gets to one dot it stops which is good for the battery.

Just a possible PSA

I bought one of the Supersonic Hair Dryers (marked as Latest Model) for $220'ish directly from the Dyson Refurb site a few days ago.

As of typing this, there are only a couple of items listed there and neither are in stock, but the day I ordered the Hair Dryer it when I got interrupted during the checkout process. A few hours later it was back in stock. So I'm guessing the page changes often.

Note: I did try to apply the Dyson Owners 20% coupon on it, but was told by the sales rep that you couldn't stack it with the refurb discount. May be worth trying though.

They both will perform identically but the Torque drive has a nicer display than the Animal, it tells you remaining time and some other notifications as compared to the Animal which just has a basic segmented battery bar. The Torque might come with some different/extra attachments too. Since the Torque is $20 cheaper, I'd definitely get that one.

buy it at your own Risk. but purchase the extended warranty. ( i think its included on ebay). they are reliable but you will have some minro isues in the long run
