Pretty sure you can enable it in the settings like the CX50, I think the 23/24 has the same new infotainment as CX50. But the touch only works in AA /carplay environments but that's what almost everyone uses only, really a non issue as the control wheel is very intuitive after a day or so of using and prefer it to keep the screen clean, it's rare I ever use the touch screen unless voice search is not giving my result and need to type in a location
fyi I use car stream hack well crack and would be nice if they included wifeless car play or android auto.
i'll have to pay 50 bucks to add that feature come on man include it already not expensive or hard.

Got a 2019 CX5 AWD GTR, and I absolutely love it. The only negative is that the touch screen only works while the car is parked. I believe newer models don't have any touchscreen functionality at all now. Personally, using the knob is more distracting.
Can enable touch for AA/ Carplay and also while in motion

Curious why they never seem to have these offers for CX9. I'm assuming they're more popular?
Because the cx9 was replaced by the cx90

Does the 2024 cx-5 have lane centering like the subaru on highway? The Eyesight system pretty much drives on its own on highway (of course with clear lane marking and you have to keep your hands on the steering.)

Same engine and mpg as cx5?
CX50 has same two engines as CX-5, the NA2.5 and turbo 2.5, the MPG is almost identical.

I wanted to buy a toyota rav4 prime but they didn't have any phev let alone hybrids l opted for regular ones but they wanted 5000 markup I said no and walked.

Then I went to the a mazda dealer and currently driving a 2023 CX5.

2024 is better because of touch screen they FUKED up with not enabling touch IMO.
But I needed a vehicle so I had to buy something. And this year the dealers are more desperate I assume next year is even better deals.
SMH
Ideally I want a PHEV version of CX50
CX90 is too big and its expensive as well for 50k and tax rebate. I cant really use that rebate.

if they can make the CX50 PHEV with the Regen braking with rebate 35k that would be good for me for an upgrade ideally LIFEPO4 batteries.
IDK why they not changing these fuked up batteries to lifepo4 they are 10x better than reg lithium ion batteries and more stable and safer

I'll consider buying an PHEV after they convert to LIFEPO4 battery until then lion sux

https://www.evlithium.com/lifepo4...ic-ca.html

their excuse is low temp discharge.... yeah with phev it means you also have an engine and that will increase temperatures to make it better suited to discharge at normal temps.
idiot have no excuse not using lifepo4. for phev

I like Mazdas and would be in the market for a CX90 with that sexy inline 6 if they had only made it a bit more spacious in and behind the third row.

I have a CX-9. It's my favorite car ever. Turbo 4 cylinder that gets the same mileage as my RAV4 but has a third row. I would imagine that it gets similar mileage as the CX5 as well.
Awesome thanks. The used market and rates are pretty bad, but what year would you recommend for CX9?

Mazda doesnt get as much love as Honda or Toyota, but they are just as reliable, if not even surpassing them in some years.

Add the fact they are typically reasonably priced, easy on the eyes, and most importantly fun to drive...its a no brainer!

Bought our first mazda 10+ years ago, and my wife (and I to an extent) are hooked.

Got a '23 CX5 in the driveway now. Has its minor faults (not as big as competitors and okay on gas mileage), but the pros outweigh those minor cons significantly.
