I'm looking for a new TV and this seems to be a great deal. Am I missing something?
Edit: looked a previous thread and apparently it's only 60hz
go for 120 refresh rate
Bought this with 2 year Samsung plus and tv mounting last month . This is great tv for the price . Also there was cash back from chase which makes it better.

Would you say this is better than Samsung TU9010 that is available for $999 at Sam's and Best Buy? I'm considering both for my purchase.
What difference does it make unless you watch game? Is this an ok tv if you only need it for movies and regular tv channels?
If you like frame interpolation like I do, frame interpolation tends to look much better on 120hz screens. 24hz doesn't divide into 60hz, while 24hz divides perfectly into 120hz and offers extra frames of interpolation for a smoother picture.
for people who don't like frame interpolation (many), a 60hz TV is perfectly fine
