People like you are what makes customer service work so miserable. They simply made an attempt to help or upsell you. It has nothing to do with being woke. You could have told them that you plan to produce midget porn, custom microwaves, marijuana smoking Dell's, or just about anything else. The question wasn't about you being the "right kind of customer" but simply doing their job by attempting to make sure you were getting what you needed or at worst, to attempt to upsell you.

Sounds like your purchasing pattern is triggering an automated fraud prevention and they just want to know what account manager to connect you with (they have different teams focused on individuals vs business and companies of different sizes).

If you are annoyed by their marketing tactics or sales team structure, use another company, but this is a business operations thing and not a woke issue.

Please ask them why they care what I do with them and why they ask questions about my business, which is none of their concern. I can make a bonfire with them if I want, or I can change my laptop and desktop monthly if I so desire.
I'm a legit paying customer. Besides, why do you have all of these programs (like rewards and email bombing) to keep people buying more, which should be your goal, and now they care I have to be some "right" kind of customer?
This is what happens when social justice warriors lead a company. Let them know I will take my money elsewhere and that I expect the 2 refunds done ASAP.

Yea, right. A private company's job is to make money, and I'm sure an investor wouldn't be happy about these people cancelling my orders bacause they need to "understand my business".

WTF? Yeah, that's none of their business. I don't know anything about their wokeness, but their customer service is farking terrible. Awful enough that I will never look at a Dell product, even on sale. (Or any of the other brands they own.)
