Better than the current front page deal! Govee USA has 3-Pack + WIFI hub and 5-Pack Govee Water Leak Sensor Detectors w/ 100dB Adjustable Audio Alarm Sensor (‎B5054002) for $26.25 with coupon 25OFF. Shipping is free.

EDIT: I just noticed that the 25OFF code that expires Dec 18 works on ALL versions and formats of water sensors, V1, V2, with hub, without hub.

25% off everything on this link until Dec 18: https://us.govee.com/collections/...e-offers-1 (mostly sensors and hygrometers, and some of the prices after discounts seem to blast through previous Front Page deals. Product Features:
3-Pack Govee Water Detectors with Wi-Fi Gateway

It's almost the same. It's currently Front Page for more ($30).

Yes, but this model works with Home Assistant (if you have rtl_433 installed, and a receiver).

I suspect the newer model with Lora will be harder to decode.

Is there a way to make this work with Smartthings? I have the new version and the old versions, but the only way I can trigger my smart water valve is through IFTTT which is unreliable.

Nope. Smarthing seems to be getting more irrelevant every day. I still have it for now, but I am migrating whatever I can to HA.

It needs an SDR (Software defined radio) and custom software.

Thanks! Got the v2 with 6 sensors. Got the v2 instead of v1 for the longer range so one hub can cover my main house and an ADU.

I paid with PayPal for some reasons it triggered the international payment alerts on my US credit card. Now I am worried that it may charge more!

was cleaning today and barely got some spray mist towards the sensor and it promptly went off and alerted with siren and via the internet to my email and cell.

I'd rather have these oversensitive than not. I have one behind the toilet, under the kitchen sink, and one under the washing machine. I've tested them and strongly believe they would save me grief if I ever had a leak. One of the best gadgets I've bought that I'll hopefully never need.

Hey, curious how to use it with rtl_433 for my HA. If you know a guide that I can look at, would appreciate it a lot! Thanks!
