Doesn't BuyDig do Call-In deals where you could potentially get it w/o upfront tax by placing the order over the phone?

Edit: Nevermind, looked up some previous deal threads and it looks like the 'Call-In' deals were taxed at the point of sale

I'm in the market, but no rush. Any advice on how to choose between LG, Sony, and Samsung?

I'm just starting to research. Don't laugh, but my current Tv is a pro (not consumer) plasma monitor with no speakers bought in 2002. So anything might be an upgrade, but the brightness and blacks are hard to beat, even at 20 years old. Biggest limitation is the 720p resolution.

New house has lots of windows so brightness is a worry too.

Probably going to be biased but LG came into the OLED first and for the price it can't be beat . Sony OLED is a bit better but run about $1,000 more. I wouldn't go Samsung because they don't support Dolby vision .

Read the instructions. Apply the promo code for the lower price.
Looks like I caught the post early in the middle of editing. It didn't even have a link and I just clicked on see deal within the app but good to know it's been clarified.

Not bad! If there was an offer to skip tax as well I'd grab it. Otherwise waiting at this point to see what LG is doing next year, with CES right around the corner and rumor of another big brightness increase for the MLA tech (or possibly bringing it to the C series hopefully)
There is one. I purchased the 77" yesterday for a little cheaper. $2,900 (no tax) ship to my door via putting in an offer at the Green website. Save me about $148.43 versus buying from Buydig. But this is still a great price.

Wow, I'm surprised you stuck this long with a 720p TV. It sounds like you're gonna keep whatever you buy for a long time so I'd go with the LG G3 (not 83" as that model doesn't have MLA). The price tag will be high up front but it'll be dirt cheap over the lifetime of that TV.

Finally pulled the trigger and got this as my Christmas gift. Thanks, OP! If you keep waiting, the price may come down more, but then you won't be able to enjoy it in the meantime, not to mention it will be sold out faster at a lower price. I've bought many things from BuyDig before and have no issues thus far.

I would've dropped it like a hot potato if I ever felt like I was missing out. But it's been a champ for a long time.
But definitely time for an upgrade

Yeah you really owe it yourself, I think you might be the only plasma owner on earth who totally skipped 1080p TVs. Plasma didn't have a true successor until OLED so I think you'll find it worth the upgrade, I actually got my first one this year and I regret not buying one earlier as it was such a huge improvement over the 4k LCDs I had, the money I saved waiting for it to drop in price wasn't worth living with an inferior TV for 5+ years. Watching movies is more enjoyable now on the OLED.

Hopefully you'll have some 4k content ready to watch to really show off what the TV can do. BTW resolution of the content does matter as when my HBO max account got downgraded from 4k to 1080, I could tell a movie like Avatar 2 didn't have as much wow factor in the picture quality on OLED as it did at 4k.

Great price!
For those who missed out on the BF deals, I'd recommend getting it at this price.

Anyone having trouble purchasing on the site? I used my credit card and apparently it's pending from my bank but I have no orders on my buydig account…
