Pretty sure i know how it'll go but no harm in asking. this is the second big screen I've bought from them in a couple years so hopefully playing the customer loyalty card pays off

Probably going to be biased but LG came into the OLED first and for the price it can't be beat . Sony OLED is a bit better but run about $1,000 more. I wouldn't go Samsung because they don't support Dolby vision .
Sony's high end OLEDs generally have higher input lag than comparable LG OLEDs, which matters if you'll be playing video games on it.

Yes that too but didn't figure he might be a gammer with 720p plasma but another tip for the LG G3

Yeah not much gaming anymore.

Slightly back on topic here. Is this "frame" tv any different than their other QLED tvs? And how does it display a still image when it's "off".

Also I read that mini LED is brighter than both OLED and QLED, or is it not that dramatic a drop.

I got the LG G3 65" for $2000 in October... when no one else had that price... you do hate seeing when it goes lower. I'd gone for almost a year without a tv waiting for a right deal.

I got two of these on an absurd LG employee price deal...

It's the best damn thing I've ever seen in my life.

It's honestly on par with the first time I saw HDTV and VR. No Cap - as the Gen Zeds would say.
What was the price and how did you get it

I would want an oled tv to be displayed an image because of burn in . The G3 requires wall mount also ( yes they sell a stand but G3 should be wall mounted)
Min led looks great but too expensive and too new. Maybe find a location that local has the G3 on display Not the cheaper C3 series fyi. This is the best LG for the money also last LG tv with ASTC 3.0 OTA Tunner probably being dropped for 2.0 ( will see if. 3.0 makes it or not)

Anyone having trouble purchasing on the site? I used my credit card and apparently it's pending from my bank but I have no orders on my buydig account…
This happened to me last time Buydig had a deal on this tv but the only difference is I received a order number and nothing changed with my order status after 2 weeks then when I contacted Buydig they said my bank cancelled the order and to call my bank and when I called my bank they confirmed it went through hence why it is in the pending status so when I called Buydig back they told me my order was cancelled the day after I placed my order but I was never made aware until I called them to see why my order status never changed and now I refuse to buy anything from Buydig ever I'm waiting for B&H or best buy to have another deal

I have almost 9,000 hours on a 65-in C7 that I bought back in 2018 for something like $800 new.

Not sure if it's time to upgrade yet.
The difference between your c7 and g3 picture potentially might be worth it to you. To me, the difference is huge but other ppl who don't use their TV often might feel differently.

Here's a few reasons why you might want to upgrade:

1 - you have your c7 in a bright room. The g3 gets significantly brighter and does a ton better in bright rooms. The mla panel is better looking across the board but, if you're in a really dark room and you don't watch the complex content, it might not wow you as much.

2 - you play games. You'll get 120hz & vrr capability. As a gamer, this is a world of difference in performance.

3 - if you're using the internal apps, g3 engine is going to be significantly faster but still not on par with a dedicated streamer like a shield pro or apple4kTV.

I'm in the same boat. My C7 is bright enough for my room. I have a C3 in the bedroom and yes, it's nicer, but not enough to get rid of the C7 in the living room just because the G3 is nicer.

I don't game. I never used any of the internal apps. My TV is only used with an Apple TV so really all about the display. Features are pretty irrelevant for me. Sound I also use a sound bar so not even looking at which model has better speakers.

Had an issue using my Chase Sapphire as it wouldn't go through. Then I used my Amazon credit card using Amazon Pay and it worked. Both are through Chase but one didn't work. No idea why.
