Worst version of the game. Switch hardware can't run it properly. Don't bother even if you can find a copy of it locally.

#1 down graded version of the year. If you want spend $35 or less go with PS5 or XBOX version. It'll dropping $20 quickly.

Thanks. Got price match on Target purchase made last week. It was only a $5 difference but it only took about 2 minutes. Much better than Amazon's policy of repurchase and return only. (Amazon used to price match price drops years ago.)

Oh no. Does it run slowly, glitch or is it just at a lower resolution?

Massive frame rate drops. Noticeable loss in quality, draw distance, etc. because the hardware can't render as much as PS5/XBX/PC.

There was a massive patch for the Switch version released this week that apparently fixes a lot of issues with the game.

New patched dropped this week addressing those areas. More stable 30fps and better load times into Hogsmeade. They launched it early to catch holiday sales but are now fixing it up seems.

Good to know. I got my daughter the PS4 version since I suspected her switch lite might not give the best experience.

I went with the PS4 version and some in game visuals are not as high quality as I'd have hoped, but still looks good and I am enjoying the game. I can only imagine how terrible it must look on the Switch. I usually prefer Switch versions over the other consoles, but not for games like this or Witcher 3.

This game is quite bland from a "gameplay" perspective. Where it shines is the graphics and immersion - which you will not fully get from the Switch due to poor performance. If you are die hard HP and need to play it on the Switch, I guess you'll manage. But if you felt that strongly you'd probably have pre-ordered and/or gotten it Nov 14th.

I say this from personal experience, comparing it on PS5 to my nephew's Switch. Of course... ignorance could be bliss.
