Story time!

I showed up today to pick up the order early because I wasn't sure if it would still be in stock during my pickup time tomorrow. One other guy I had never seen before was there with a flatbed cart. There were a couple of TVs left. We helped each other load our carts with our separate TVs. It is gigantic!

I checked out before the other guy and went out to my car. I opened the back hatch and realized it would not fit unless I unbox the TV. As I was doing so, a couple of different people walked by me and asked if I needed help. I wasn't sure yet if I needed help, and so I told them that I could probably take care of it.

Then, the other guy from the store that I had helped load his flatbed walked past me and said "Hey, if you want, I can load yours into my truck, follow you to your house, and drop it off. " Wow! I had no idea someone would be so kind. I told him that I lived farther away than he probably would want to go. He said he lived in a town that was only about 10 or 15 minutes from where I lived. And he said he could help me.

I said okay, we loaded both of the TVs into his truck, he followed me to my house, we unloaded mine, and then he went on his way. I was so surprised how kind he was, and how nice it was for him to take time to do this.

People are really genuinely kind sometimes.

For skeptics who might say I was too trustworthy: I had his phone number and license plate. And I just got a good vibe from him. I hope he realized what a kind act that was. It makes me want to pay it forward.

It's the panel type used for the display. Off angle viewing isn't the best, but you'll want to be sitting directly in front of the panel. I have the QN95C 85" with VA panel, and my wife and I sit directly in front of it. No issues whatsoever. VA panels have superior contrast as well.

If I'm not going OLED, I'd rather have a VA panel over an ADS panel. Lastly, the 2023 QN90C utilizes an ADS panel.

This works: buy the TV full price at a Sam's Club that has it in stock. Go to the Sam's Club that had the sale, but out of stock, return it and re-buy it. They let me do that tonight.
I did this in 2019 with a 65" LG C8 deal at Walmart. I was denied at two Walmarts and the third let me do it. It was a hassle, but getting a $1000 65" OLED, in 2019 was worth it.

But if Sam's is like Walmart, your mileage may vary. It took some work and persistence.

I just had the same idea. I have one at my local Sam's, another Sam's 50 miles away has the $999 price but is out of stock.

Thanks OP for posting. I was able to order one online for pickup yesterday in the DFW area.

Random question - any recommendations on a good wall mount for this TV?
Which store if you don't mind sharing?

Employees are definitely buying these the minute they go on sale. 3 were available last night around 2am in La Habra, CA. This morning they were gone
Was at La Habra yesterday. They had about 7 at 6pm and they were full price. Did they lower the price there?

I just bought a full price one. What should I tell the discounted store in order to get the deal?

The one from Costco seems good. I got it for $100, can't think of the name. It was 50 bucks off. Seems very well made

Just take it down there and say that you want to return it and re-purchase

I got one at greenwood in tonight. It was full price. But I had stopped at a couple stores that said they had one. No go. Took a screenshot of inventory and greenwood had 5. Price was 2297... talked to a couple managers and they didn't want to do the sale price...one said, oh well it's Christmas so I'll do it. 5 year allstate was 139... automatically taken off. So 1070 out the door.
Then the dang thing wouldn't go in my Buick enclave. So 30 mile drive back tomorrow. Gonna rent a uhaul. 19.95. drove literally completely around Indianapolis. About 100 miles. So I'll have 160 miles and the trailer. So an extra 44 bucks. I'm really happy. Bought a LG mini led about a week ago from Costco for about 2070 delivered. Gonna put them side by side and check them.
Thinking the Costco is going back to save 1100. Thanks OP.
