I picked this TV up a couple weeks back. Excellent blacks and colors. Football and basketball both look great as does Nintendo Switch (I know, not exactly the pinnacle of video game graphics). Love the picture.
nope you'd have to buy the geeksquad warranty which is worth every penny imo. if you do get burn-in within the geeksquad warranty period, they send someone to your home and check for the burn-in and give you your money back no questions asked, they don't waste your time if something does go wrong.
60fps still looks very smooth in gaming. Only time I wouldn't recommend it is if you were coming from a 120hz screen already. But personally coming from a 60hz TCL, I'd upgrade to this OLED TV over a non-OLED 120hZ.

The one that shows LIVE is from October. That deal expired but was never reported. The latest FP post at this price from earlier in December expired. FYI

People pushing 60hz probably aren't looking at budget TVs.

So torn apart. This one or the Samsung 50" Class QLED 4K Q60C for $423.99 with EPP. Could not give a shit about gaming.

Amex has 25 off 250 at BestBuy, too. Check yours.

Looks good for a bright room. You have any experience/opinion with it considering glare? Thanks. I ordered.

I can't really speak to that bc the room mine is in doesn't get any sun reflecting towards the TV. Overhead lights haven't caused any glare issue on my end.

I have used TVs as my monitors since the early 2000s after a decade of monster CRTs, then a couple of LCD monitors, then the Sharp Aquos came out and that was it. (I also used to use one in the Win95/98 era but it was more of a way I was able to show how to use standard A/V adapters and converters to make it happen.)
I've use a 55in LG OLED for years now and if you are looking for a great TV, you can't do wrong. Once you go true black you don't go back. But I can't buy any new screen that doesn't support higher refresh rates for a bunch of reasons. I was thinking about getting this as a side monitor to maintain the visuals across my screens but I just can't with a 60hz refresh rate.

I think that this is a good deal though in a great TV from the biggest OLED manufacturer who put the millions into the research to make it the best they could........ except that damn refresh!

Bought this last year at Best Buy for approximately $560. Loves it. Awesome black. For this price ur not going to get 120hz. I'm fine with 60hz. Maybe the A3 will come down in price in the near future.

Anyone use this as a monitor? If so, what's your experience been like?

60hz on OLED still feels very snappy. I had a 60hz 4k OLED laptop for a few weeks and I had no problems playing FPS on it. Response times are very low on OLED so you don't feel the 60hz as much as a regular LCD panel.
