Damn it. Pulled the trigger on the open box an hour ago. Hopefully I can cancel in the morning then redo it for the new one.
For the op. Can't you just bring your receipts in for a price adjustment?

I would try online first, then maybe just drag the box back and see if they will do it that way.
If you're willing to stretch your budget a little, the 48" C2 and C3 often appear on woot at or below $700.

It's too bright if all the lights are off so you need to go to settings.
It's a day and night difference coming from a regular LED tv.
Just wait for the $550 new and you will not be disappointed.
