I've been screwed over adding a free line that they converted to a paid line despite checking with tmobiles help line multiple times to make sure that wouldn't be the case. I'd make sure everything you ask is screenshotted and well documented before doing any of these promos.
Screen shots don't matter. I lost a free that tforce assured me I wouldn't. The chats are still there in Twitter. All a screen shot will get you is a confirmation from them that someone screwed up at T-Mobile and that it wasn't you. They still won't correct it if the system doesn't give them an easy way to fix it. Best I got out of it was 6 months of credit for the free line I lost.

I have a Simple Choice unlimited everything plan. Got a free line last year. Went to chat with TForce via IMessage and was told "it's only for targeted customer" and the rep refused to elaborate. Knew they were not telling the full truth. Went in store and they added the free line!

If I delete 1 paid line first, can I still get this free line the next day? I know this used to have 90 days no deletion rule, but not sure if it is still applicable to this promotion.
If the code present is the only requirement, Sounds like I can. Or I add first, then cancel the paid line afterward?

i remember from the last byod free line that someone mentioned you cannot ever do a line promo with this line, otherwise it becomes a paid line. not sure how true it is. i guess the hassle would be trying to remember which line is byod and which isn't.
not true

Yeah I'd be careful with this. Last time CSR told me I was eligible and then they started charging me. Multiple conversations with Tmobile CSRs since. Every time promised it will be fixed and never was. At least every time they gave me credit to cover the cost but next month same situation. In the end they basically admitted I was lied to but said tough luck. Taking all my lines and leaving T-Mobile because of that.
I'm sure other companies won't have employees that make mistakes and will hand you tons of free lines on the regular

They have good device deals. I'm still on a One plan and did the BOGO voice lines and able to take advantage of phone promotions. Got $600 credit on an s23 plus without a trade in then got $830 off an iphone 15 pro max with a trade in. Requires 2 year with new lines but it was only $20 for the 2 lines.
Didn't realize they were still offering phone deals on "One" plans. Is it st active?

I have imeis associated with each line, but most of the phone's don't get turned on and just drive my actual bill down after kickback credits.
I have never got any $10 kickback from my free lines nor $5 auto pay discount even though i have both activated (i dont use my free lines)

Any chance T-mo Home Internet customers might be eligible?
I have at least 2 T-mo (modem/band) compatible (unlocked) phones handy, and I am a TMHI customer w/ a good payment history.

I'll try tomorrow with my One Plus plan. I already have 8 lines. I doubt this will work though...
Same plan as yours and 8 lines, please come back with your results

Quit being a hater. I've done 3 of these before and never had any issues. 10 lines on Simple Choice, 3 of them free, $130/month.
$130 is before taxes right since SC still has taxes. I have simple choice but I pay alot more (theres a few people with data and phones though) But I just wanted to look at the voice only

According to all the T&C I have seen in the past, New Line promos require no Line Cancelled previous 90 days, and can't cancel any lines for the next 12 months after the New Line.

You should consider the BOGO to bring your Plan past 9. Very unlikely the ONE plans will ever see a Free Line by itself.

that never ends well. they don't have to honor what an employee says. there are a lot of dumb employees who have no clue what they are talking about and spit out incorrect information.
No kidding... I was with T-Mobile for like...15 yrs or something ridiculous and switched briefly to ATT for reasons I can't remember... probably a Costco deal....but att customer service made me so frustrated that I switched back. T-Mobile used to give you your own dedicated customer service.team and they knew answers and could fix errors. Now they have ATT like customer service and I need to make a switch bc I am not about this life. Lol. I swear I really never call...it is the last thing I want to do..but last month I had to call twice and both times the rep was like "oh yeah you're fine that's fixed" nah
....nah it wasn't. I finally got resolution thru FB chat with a written record of the correspondence.

Reached to tforce on x. Mentioned both the internal document # and the promotion name as well as my segments need to be checked to see if I'm eligible. We'll see what they say. I currently have 8 lines for $100 a month.
What are the rest of us doing wrong? Lol.
