No it is not. I jusst got it by ordering a sim card.
so... I got it :X i followed what others did in this thread and actually used the app.. the service rep found it and yes sure enough I am eligible so getting a free line.
Question though..
We currently have 2 lines. My wife and I... since this is "free", can i drop my old line/phone and will that drop our monthly??

anyone know?
Most free line offers require two paid lines, so probably not.
TMO call center reps couldn't help. Chat rep said it was available. I tried calling in to add it once I had the IMEI for my BYOD, and they said the promo is just for $800 off a device. They can't see the free line in their system. 🙄
I was able to get mine ! I called 611 the rep told me I'm not eligible. So I jumped on the T-Mobile app and chatted with them . They said the promos not on my account and that they would add the promo and it would take 24 hours but the rep said they asked their supervisor and they approved them to process it right away. After a while they were able to add the free line and didn't charge me a $35 activation . They are also sending me a physical sim after they activated a esim. Took some time but worth the wait . Just be super nice to the reps .

You will have a rude awakening. If just calling and being nice yields people a free line then TMO would go out of business soon. And a supervisor who "approves" free lines just because is not supervisor material…
Seriously folks, you don't believe that they just approve free lines or that they put you on a list to be eligible later?? It's a computer that determines who is eligible and puts the promo on those accounts. Either you're eligible or you're not. There is no waitlist. Sorry to crush your hopes.

Yes, T mobile reps are notorious for lying to customers. It took me 6 months to get a trade in promo corrected.
I don't need a new line right now. But free is tempting. I reached to T mobile team in X to be sure.
I'm right there with ya. Still working on getting my monthly credits from (3) 12 ProMAx trade ins from September.

I did call 611 yesterday and no luck as well as tforce through x. Both said no promos other than bogo.
Question though..
