Done over the phone. I can potentially get an extra $5 credit a month as they give $5 a month per line enrolled on autopay using a bank account or debit card.
You typically don't get $5 autopay on free lines, unless you have 9+ lines, then you get $40 autopay for the first 8 lines regardless of whether they're free or not.

What time does it switch to the international reps?..so far whenever there's a promo the U.S ones are never helpful, I just called and asked about the free byod promo and they only mentioned the bogo free promo..from my experience I've noticed the international are easier to talk to.

I was told by T force rep that my plan (One Plan) is capped to max 3 lines, therefore I am not eligible (as I already have 3 lines). I would like to hear experience of others who have the One Plan and tried to add free line. Thanks.

Same experience here, I am on Magenta and it didn't work for me. They may be bluffing but they said they only see BOGO promo.

I only have one paid line on Magenta Max (plus $25/mo for life internet… Sweeet!) and previous free line promos required 2 paid lines or more to qualify,

Spent a long time skimming through pages of comments in this promo but haven't yet seen anyone commenting on getting a free line with the 1 paid line setup that I have.

So, instead of spending hours more searching the thread, I'll ask: anyone with 1 paid Magenta Max line qualify for this free line promo?

Please advise. Thanks!

Also, on a side note, a few more questions for the T Experts out there, seeing as I will qualify for the discounted 55+ Magenta Max plan next May:

Does anyone know if it's possible to keep a free promo line if I'm able to get moved onto the discounted 55+ Magenta Max plan next year?

And does anyone know if I would get to keep my $25/mo for life internet plan if I get moved into that discounted 55+ Magenta Max plan?

Oh the uncertainty lol 😇😊 If anyone has any experience in this, please share. Thanks!! 🙏

I've seen people with one line reporting they got it, but I'm skeptical it'll stick.

This is what I've noticed. Seems the ones who have more than one paid line get promos and are targeted. Ones with one paid line are slim pickings but some claim they got it. Rep kinda slipped when I spoke with them and said the free line promos are also used to offset accounts that have more than one line to offset the cost. Little does they know that those are already reaping free lines stacked.

Question: One of my lines is like $20/mo but I have several free lines….am I able to dump the $20/mo line without any repercussions? Or will I screw my plan and kickback and all that stuff? I'm on One +

It's not true. I got that free line and did a device promo for a Pixel 7 pro in December 2022 and I'm still getting the device credits. I bought a Samsung 10e on swappa for that line to do the trade in (Samsung phone was worth $800 in credits)
You CAN NOT have promos on BYOD lines. No matter how much you kick n scream. It's impossible to do. You're a lying dipshyt

As far as I know, the special plan 55+ can only have two lines.

Simple Choice North America plan w/ 10 lines (1 free) and 2 free data lines.

I contacted tforce via fb messenger (after 6.5 hrs) told me I was ineligible. I'll try calling tomorrow. Although even if I could get it, I may be capped by the # of lines. I've gotten mixed feedback on 10 lines being the max vs 12 being the max.

I'd also take anything my rep said with a grain of salt. I got the tmo home internet promo during black Friday, the rep said that I could cancel line without impacting that discount. However, I'm pretty sure the terms say any changes to my lines will make me lose my promotional discount.
