When did you see the line appear on your account? Did the person who helped you add the line immediately while you were on the phone/chat with them or did you have to wait to activate the SIM before it showed up on your account? Or did you use an eSIM?
New line is listed under line list with $0.00.
Also, on Plan Details page I see "Line Discount ID230289 (Additional Lines) under applied discounts and promotions.

I don't see the line discount yet, but I asked the agent to mail me a sim card. The new phone number appears on my acct with a dummy IMEI. A second rep said that the discount would appear as soon as I activate the SIM card that comes... very sus...

In my case, the rep added the line while we were chatting. It might have helped that it was eSim. I got the notification on my phone to activate the esim by the end of the chat. This was yesterday evening.
Today morning am able to see the line on my account. But the promo code has not shown up yet.

I've never been targeted or part of any promo. But last year was the first time I've even heard of these promos. How many if any on them lines have you gotten in your swac-converted plan?
I got 1 free line years ago when I was still Sprint SWAC I have 4 Advantage Unlimited lines now for $120 and 1 free line hoping to get a 2nd free line
I'd just screenshot them saying you're eligible and add the line.
You will spend months of them arguing you weren't eligible. Each new rep you talk to will say they will fix the problem and you will have to recap the problem again and again. They will move it up to another level. Then, they say they will call you back...and they never call back. 😮 💨
got it on one military plan. chat said not eligible, but phone rep told me i was good to go. credited back the activation fee. they said itd take 1-2 billing cycles for the line to show up as crediting back, eg paying for at least the 1st cycle. anyone else get same info?
It will be a lie. You will see the charge multiple months. They won't fix it. You'll spend months chatting or calling each time a new bill comes out.

I did it in person in Costco. The store rep added the line immediately. I did not have to activate the SIM Card at the same time. It's still sitting in my drawer, but the line is displayed in my account.

I didn't have to activate the sim or provide IMEI number of the phone. The rep just scanned the sim and added it to my account.
