I'll check out too but I'd advise be super careful with these type of deals. I have Select Choice Family Plan and last year there was a similar deal where they incorrectly told me I qualified for it and then I added a new line for "free" but then my plan got switched incorrectly out of my legacy plan into a new one. Apparently I had a 5 line limit and the 6th line pushed me over the limit which created a nightmare and my bill increased overnight by an extra $80+. After multiple calls and 3-4 hours with Escalations team, they finally were able to put in a request to their Development to programmatically put me back on Select Choice. Be advised and super careful...
Have Select Choice Fam plan here too and afraid to add anything.... But a few ppl have said if it doesn't work out then they can just request NOINSTALL on the line and it should switch plan back to way it was but no idea how quickly that would go in effect ...

Yes, call and ask them to check Atlas or Tapestry (those are systems/tools they use) to check what segments are listed on your account.
Would old Select Choice accts show up on just 1 of the 2 or both of those systems?
Was told our Select Choice with 4 voice lines + 0 free voice lines + 5 device od lines + 1 TMHI line = $107ish did not qualify fairly quickly, have the feeling it wasn't even checked

What plan do u have & what is the offer code applied on that line when u check the SOC or is it 1 of the SOC already posted https://soc.quest/ for an existing promo?

I signed up for the free BYOD line. I did so with the intent of bringing my daughter in law to our plan. She is currently on another T-Mobile account. I am being told by T-Mobile that it is not possible to port her line to the new BYOD line I have added. I can only transfer the number to my account as a new line I will have to pay for. Does anyone know a way around this?

You can't transfer an existing t-mo number in. What you can do is have your daughter-in-law port out her number to a different company for 90 days and then port back in to t-mo under your plan. She needs to be away from t-mo for 90 days to be considered a non t-mo number. In the meantime, keep your free line open with the number it was initially assigned. When your daughter-in-law ports in her number, the outside plan closes and the existing number on the free line disappears. Your daughter-in-law keeps her number.

For what it's worth, I went to a retail store on Dec 23rd to add the free line (promo still showing active as well). My account showed that it was eligible for the free line, however closer inspection by Retail Support showed my grandfathered T-Mobile ONE plan was locked down to the existing 3 lines already on it, in a clear attempt to push some to migrate to newer plans if they require more lines.
I didnt see this thread... I hit up TMobile chat (app) right now, the rep. wrote to me I can have hime add a BYOD line 'now'.. and 'manually' apply /request in his system?) requset for the discount to be applied under the promo ID cde. to make the line free I"M guessing.
