It might be true for that particular one. Of course aside from Amazon it's a good idea to check Kizer, Mojave and the Mojave eBay store at time of buying to see about any slight difference whether it's tax or some coupon code. It doesn't seem like their points system is as easy to score a few dollars off as Civivi though, for example.
