While I personally hated these movie with terrible acting and terrible effects, my kids absolutely loved them and watched each of them easily 20 times over the years. Some of the very few movies that held their attention throughout somehow. It's really inexplicable.

Spy Kids 3D is arguably Sylvester Stallone's best role(s) ever. Add in some Ricardo Montalban (Khan from Star Trek 2) and this is an instant classic. Don't care what anyone says. 🤣

Spy Kids 2 and even more so SK3 become a lot more fun to watch once you realize the director is basically trying to invite his friends to do his movie, like every Adam Sandler movie. The chewing of the scenery, especially in the last 10 minutes of SK3, is just the topping on the silly ham cake that they are serving to you.

These are not Oscar winners - they're goofy, kid-friendly and adult-amusing sendups of James Bond as a kid. My kids loved all three, and Sharkboy and Lavagirl the sideways sequel series to this, for the wacky factor.

This is great.... I still remember seeing Spy Kids 3D with me and my Mom... when I was 23. It was awesome.
