Not a deal but a cool new product and would make great gifts. I'm not sure if there are any coupons going on right now. However, as the wise latin gas station sage told Sarah Connor at the end of Terminator 1...."storm's coming"

I like how 4 or 5 of the tools allows you to open a bottle of beer, a true survivalist.
Anyone that can't open a beer in the woods without any tools is going to die in the woods. 😅

It is absolutely NOT safe to buy from Harbor Freight, in the sense that their non electrical items are made by cutting corners too, usually using plastic parts that should be metal. I saw casters there once labeled as 'all metal casters' made from plastic that was spray painted silver! The only things that didnt prove to be complete garbage (and sometimes theres a need for garbage disposable tools) were a hammer and a set of wrenches from there. They used to be cheap enough where it justified the one or two uses you might get before the tool broke, but their prices look a lot like other cheap tools now. Long story short: if its important dont buy from harbor freight, they buy from the same guys that make counterfeit stuff in Yiwu or wherever the hot new fake goods market is.
It's a survival kit. No matter what way you look at it, it is safer to buy it from Harbor Freight than not to have one at all. Your statement is absurd.

Nice list! I have always carried steel wool and a 9-volt battery too. Instant 🔥
protip: lithium 9 volts perform best in cold and store 25 years before they start to show diminished capacity from factory. They still work at 25 years and I've never had had any lithium batt corrode and destroy electronics. they're also lighter to carry EEK!

"Flint" fire starters always crack me up. They are fun to play with yes, but in any REAL potential survival situation, just carry a few extra bic (or mini bic) lighters, and/or matches. If the knife is of decent quality this isn't a bad set to add stuff to.
Agree, unless you practice with a striker-style tool beforehand, you're going to die cold and frustrated.

I bought one of these several years ago for my car. I've used the knife, the flashlight, and even the fire tube. It's nice knowing I've got some basics in the car at all times.

In a real emergency, I assume most people here including myself would stare at half of the stuff and have no idea what it is even meant for. In my emergency world I would need gas, fire, water, food, first aid kit, my generator, and hopefully some kind of mobile communication. Oh and my XD.

Haha you watch too many survival reality shows. I will take my gas and food over your tactical pen and fishing line.

that's what the city slickers say before they get blockaded and after, many people are turning cannibal within a couple weeks. I will say this, if you have gas an a generator you can watch some dvds and blurays (internet will be out). have fun

The fishling line, lure, and hook are counted as individual pieces. Kit is better than nothing but still hate how the lure that costs a fraction of a cent to produce gets counted as an individual piece.

Figured the set of every 10mm socket you could ever need would fit that bill. LMAO
