This actually retails for $79.99 so it's not as good of a deal as it seems

Misleading title. There is nothing for $149.99 that's on sale for $60.
The $150 would most likely be MSRP of the sold out Indiana Jones set. Once OOS they updated the thread to the next available item, but didn't change the MSRP.
Legos are overpriced plastic toys that people decided to fetishize. They make good caltrops though. My kids like them though and we have tons of castoffs from other people who threw them out but I don't see the point in their ridiculous prices nowadays or why people collect such common plastic easily reproducible objects. May as well collect old plastic milk jugs or abs sewer pipes.

Overpriced is exactly dead-on. Ever since they got licenses like ones for Star Wars and the MCU, LEGO has been jacking prices on all of their products to justify what they paid the license holders for their titles, and then they just oversaturate the market with junk sets. And this is coming from an avid LEGO collector from the 1970's. LEGO is definitely a shell of what it once was-now its nothing more than a license spitting machine that caters primarily to collector's that have found the next best thing to pounce. SMH
