This is intended to be an informative post for reference. The Epic Games free mystery games [epicgames.com] are now daily (starting Dec 20) for a limited time and only available for 24 hours. It's expected that there will be 15 free daily games until Jan 4, 2024.
Each day's mystery game is revealed and the previous day's game expires at 8am PT, 9am MT, 10am CT, 11am ET.

I wonder what the next freebie will be @ 11am eastern? last year the final big hit was Death Stranding directors cut for an hour then DS regular....so wonder what surprises are coming this year?

Melvor Idle is actually on my steam wishlist. Will be the second game I'll play from the Epic store giveaways. The first was Loop Hero (coincidentally, also an idle game).
It sometimes feels like Epic's got "Duke the Dumpster Droese" in charge of free games, as this is pure trash!
