Gutter guy here. Just make sure the outlet/downspout is clear. I go in after homeowner cleaning and even "professional" cleanings because they never bother checking/clearing the downspouts. and after a few years they weigh 60lbs with 4' of compacted crud in there. Blow down through the outlet and make sure plenty of air is coming out the bottom elbow. You can blow up through that bottom elbow to help clear it sometimes. That won't work if it has been clogged and compacted for awhile.

If you use something like this, try to blow out the gutters more than just once after fall - and also as long after the last rainfall as possible so it is dry. When dry they will blow out easier and leave less mess on walls and gutter etc. It will be darn near impossible to get most debris out if it is full or compact, which is why if you can do it a few times a year is much better. The hangers trap a lot of leaves no matter how strong the blower. For this reason, it helps to blow both ways several times until nothing more is coming out of the gutters. This takes a lot more strength/endurance than you'd think, especially as you get to two or three stories. It also takes longer than I expected. I rarely use the ego gutter extension in this way, and actually prefer walking the roof or using ladders.

Yes, all the time. Also works well for blowing dog hair out of the car.
I have this and ...well let's just say don't let Tim Allen play through your head when you happen to walk from the garage through the house to the front porch with this in hand, only to stop by the living room and think (Tim Allen's line about duct taping brick-a-brack down and blowing out the dust) laugh out loud I have 2 golden retrievers and the dog hair that apparently was resting between the seats and that mesh fabric under the couch is insane laugh out loud This thing was strong enough that when I just swung it around with the button pushed a giant tsunami of dog hair blew around my living room...which then took a lot longer to clean up that I had planned :/

I bought this back in the spring. Looked like new and works fine. Can't see you needing more power than this to blow leaves.

If getting it to dry your car buy this. I bought an EGO 650 and it dried my car just fine.

I will say, for the people who do own the Ego leaf blowers, invest in the gutter extension kit if you have a need. It's amazing for cleaning out the gutters on our century home.

I've always wanted to buy this to dry my car after I wash it. But I washed my car twice in the past two years.

Those of you who use this often... It's it worth to consider electric blower at all? I was shopping for one the other day, and the best of them are still underpowered in comparison to a typical gas blower, and the battery life is dismal according to reviews. If one has a rather large backyard, I wonder if benefits outweigh the drawbacks

Is this the same 5Ah battery used with their mower/snow blower lines?

That seems awfully heavy.

My Chase checking account has an offer for 10% cash back at Lowe's.com. Up to $25. So a little better than using your Lowes card.

I have the 18v Milwaukee blower and this one. This is similar to the Milwaukee until you hit the turbo button and then it's like a commercial backpack blower! It will drain the battery much faster on turbo, which is why it's just a momentary button. You use it in normal high mode and press the button just when you need the extra power.
These electric blowers aren't for people wanting to clean up an entire yard. This is perfect for clearing driveways, sidewalks, and porches, etc. If you want electric for clearing yards, get corded, not battery.

Why stop there? Go straight to the source! I enjoy letting this rip on my pup. No fumes so everyone's having a good time.
