If you use something like this, try to blow out the gutters more than just once after fall - and also as long after the last rainfall as possible so it is dry. When dry they will blow out easier and leave less mess on walls and gutter etc. It will be darn near impossible to get most debris out if it is full or compact, which is why if you can do it a few times a year is much better. The hangers trap a lot of leaves no matter how strong the blower. For this reason, it helps to blow both ways several times until nothing more is coming out of the gutters. This takes a lot more strength/endurance than you'd think, especially as you get to two or three stories. It also takes longer than I expected. I rarely use the ego gutter extension in this way, and actually prefer walking the roof or using ladders.

I can do my entire half acre lot with beds using 3 batteries (I have two 5ah and one 4 ah)
I use the lowest setting on the deck so I don't destroy the planters.
5 minutes on turbo and 15 minutes on high but those are overkill for most applications.
Other than being a little heavy, it's a great blower. Work great for drying the car and there is a stubby attachment by a third party which is nice for a shorter blower.
That seems awfully heavy.
I do have tons of batteries with Ryobi and several with DeWalt but have stuck with Ego Power for yard tools.
I will say that their backpack blower is underwhelming. But its an old model and I've had it for 3 to 4 years. I was trying to look up the model number to see how many CFM's it is compared to the new ones that are 800CFM but that'll have to wait til I get home.
I currently have 4 batteries, soon to be 5 (x2 2Ah, x1 2.5Ah, x1 5Ah) going strong with the oldest being about 6 to 7 years old, along with several tools including their dual blade mower...so far have never had an ANY issues. Watch me jinx myself after saying that...
I am in for 1. The 5Ah battery alone is $300ish. This blower is their highest model and will replace my LB5302 which takes me from 530CFM to 765CFM.
It's worth noting that I do occassionaly still use a gas backpack blower during fall leaf cleanup for the sheer amount of leaves (here in CT) but 98% of the other times, the handheld one is my go-to. It's just so quick and easy to pop in a battery and clean my driveway, garage floor, decks, patio, light snow off our cars, etc...
Actually this past Fall, I used the Ego backpack blower AND the handheld together! Backpack blower in my right hand and the LB5302 in my left hand.
That said, I would not use the handheld by itself for a big job, not even the new one (I think). Just not as comfortable and would need to constantly swap batteries. These blowers are not designed to run on Turbo the entire time. It would only last about 10 mins in my experience. I do get about 20 to 25 minutes on High (with the small batts).
Actually, I now see that my first Ego product was the LB4803 leaf blower. It was their first model so the battery that came with it is 8 to 9 years old!
