Has anyone come across any good 3rd party batteries on Amazon or the likes?

Yes works great. Bought a stubby nozzle with a silicone lip on it to make it easier to handle.

there is an Amex offer 250-50 to make it 199 (unless you lucky enough to live in one of the states without sales taxes)

Half tempted because I would like a second 5AH battery and don't have a Lowe's card already. They are giving 20% off first order with Lowe's card signup so worth about $50 to sign up.

Man I have a 18V ryobi, I think it has around 375 CFM. Hoping it breaks one day so I can get a 40V or something. 375 CFM is decent but I can't imagine how much better 765 CFM would be.

This is decent, but get one with 250mph speed, ignore the CFM rating.

Yes, I have a black car and try to avoid scratches. Works pretty well - dont waste your money on a short tube for it as it made no difference...

Also, I got mine last year and it never got this low...

I picked up one (5a) last year on AMZ for $135 or so. Doesnt last as long but works well - it makes my older blower that used a 2.5 amp blow harder too. I dont see that brand any more - just look for one with decent reviews...

Does this thing still have a ton of play in the air chute? I tried one a couple years ago and the air chute would damn near work itself off the machine.

Those of you who use this often... It's it worth to consider electric blower at all? I was shopping for one the other day, and the best of them are still underpowered in comparison to a typical gas blower, and the battery life is dismal according to reviews. If one has a rather large backyard, I wonder if benefits outweigh the drawbacks
I have an acre with quite a lot of trees. I have switched to using this over my backpack blower. I like that it is quieter, no gas fumes/emissions or dealing with buying and refilling the gas/oil, and instant on/off. I have had to change my process though. Work in smaller sections at a time. Blow into piles until it's out of battery, put on the charger and then rake and haul away while it's charging. Probably do a bit more raking than I used to. I'd love another battery to swap but they cost more than the whole blower with battery. The drawbacks are the shorter working time and more effort on the arms and shoulders. I also use it for drying my car.

Use the strap across your back with it. Problem solved.
